I purchased a Tesla Steampunk tube mod the other day i was wondering how to find out if it was authentic or not. I went to the website did the scratch and sniff thing, then typed the numbers in and it came back authentic. The vape store I bought it from said it wasn't authentic. I normally don't buy from said vape shop. I hope the pictures that I attached helps

If the people selling it admitted it was a clone, its almost certainly a clone.

Stores generally like to advertise that they sell authentic if they do.
As to the code being authentic, this happens frequently with Kangertech products, I'm not sure the exact way they produce or acquire authentication codes.

Also, its weird seeing your avatar, its also used by @Vapomizer

I got it from a vaping avatars collection, so no wonder someone else decided to use it as well, free world :)
