• Walls of the deck have been thinned to provide increased well capacity
• Thread, O-ring and set screw sizes have been carried over from the V1
• Posts are ~4.5mm square less the chamfers, post holes are ~2.25mm Ø
• V1/V2 drip tips are interchangeable, V2 drip tip features shorter threads
• V2 drip tip is ~3mm shorter in total height, ~1mm shorter in effective height
•• ~3mm shorter when measured with the threads
•• ~2mm shorter when measured less the threads
•• ~1mm shorter when installed and measured
• O-rings of the deck are spaced further apart, deck lip has been removed
• Supplied with red silicone O-rings (which I replaced with black 18x1N70)

I have two authentic V1 and two authentic V2 (one on loan) to compare and contrast with...

Positive impressions versus V1:

• Greater juice well capacity. A few drops more is a few drops more.
• Revised placement of the indirect airflow holes improves their ability to target coils
• Wider post distance allows for the installation of a single z-coil up to 3.5mm with room to spare
• Round versus D shaped post holes combined with an increase in size allows for greater build flexibility
• No need for the additional puchase of a bottom feed pin for use with squonking devices
• Greater positive pin protrusion with the convertible positive pin milled as a single piece
• Denser, more flavorful vapor when configured with the exact same airflow as the V1

Negative impressions versus V1:

• Wider post distance equates to increased coil adjustments and leg power loss for coils with fewer wraps
• Shorter 510 threads result in incompatibilities with certain mods including the JD Tech/Mohawk Mods Tres Equis

Additional Velocity V2 commentary:

Much like the V1, the V2 provides a fantastic vaping experience. Only with a noticeable improvement in the flavor department owing to its ~4.5mm effective reduction in height as measured from the bottom of the deck to the top of the radiused drip tip. As a point of reference, the overall height of the V2 is shorter than that of the Kennedy 24. The distance between posts has been concomitantly widened with the juice well. As such, wicking area and wick placement strategies remain roughly the same. However, the V2 also inherits some of the drawbacks of its predecessor including the tendency for juice to accumulate underneath the sub cap and along the circuital ledge of the primary cap. I disliked the adjustable copper positive pin of V1. It required constant maintenance and tended to cam-out during inopportune times. V2 rectifies this with a design which inspires confidence for use on all mechanical devices. For those of you who have reservations regarding the single threaded screw in preventing the flow of juice onto your cell(s) by way of the 510 plug, I can only provide positive feedback in that the V2 has not leaked from the 510 in the time that I have used it. Based on months long experience with the similarly plugged positive of the Ohman Pancake, I am absolutely confident in the ability of the threaded plug to perform its intended function.

Hmmmm, interesting, I love the dot to find the slot to put the cap on. Not sure if it's worth another 125 if you have the v1 but if you don't have the v1 hell yea it's worth it:)

Would love to but every time they have been available they sell out withing a couple minutes.

I guess I will just have to stick with my tobeco clone :(

As an aside, after a few weeks straight of vaping off the Magma Reborn and K24, I have found it exceedingly difficult to not overdrip with the V2.
