AWT Battery: 40A 3000mAh IMR

Didn't notice a thread on this brand during a search. Wanted to add a thread and test results in case anyone else comes looking.

Have no idea what's underneath the rewrap. Test summary: handles 20A well.

Well, it's good it handles 20A, but I'd never buy it due to the blatantly false labeling. 20 A =/= 40 A.

Honestly, I'm getting so cynical on batteries that I barely believe LG's and Samsung's ratings until Mooch verifies them. Kidding...but not by that much, actually!

These companies leave us only one choice: cynicism.

Pretty sure this is an LG. But the black inner wrap; haven't dug that deep into battery IDs... yet.



[EDIT: Sony 18650's have three-prong positive posts as well.]

I dont buy from companies that blatantly lie on the wrapper...buy authentic batteries from decent manufacturers...the price of the Samsungs/LGs are really cheap so there is no point in buying anything that isnt one, usually the rewraps are more expensive...
