Ehpro Bachelor Nano Review by DeucesJack

Ehpro did send me this tank specifically for the purposes of this review. This will in no way, shape, or form alter or affect my opinion. As always, I will provide an honest, straightforward, detailed review.

First Impressions Out of the Box:

Packaging is very nice. Definitely a step up from some of the other Ehpro products I have reviewed lately. Box has a magnetic closure and when opened it lists the contents of the box on the inside. Tank looks smooth and well machined. The o'rings look really thick. Tank looks and feels real solid.

What's in the Box?

Open up the box and take the tank out, unscrew the deck and you are greeted with a pre installed, pre wicked, Nichrome coil. The usual extra’s are included as well. You get spare o'rings, spare glass, an Allen key, spare grub screws, spare top cap gasket, and a spare pre wicked .5 ohm Ni coil. The spare o'rings are a really nice color blue.

From the Top Down:

The DT is SS with a Delrin or plastic inside. It looks nice and feels comfortable but ultimately it's a con that we will talk about later. The top fill is just like the TFV8. Push down and slide it over and you are ready to fill. Great design with no need for a silly vape band to keep it in place. Once you slide the top cap over there's a white rubber gasket with two small fill holes. Thes fill holes will accommodate most glass drippers and unicorn bottles but it can get messy when using the bullnose bottles.

The tank section is made of glass. The orings on this tank are really thick and beefy. I have not had any leaks at all. The chimney and chamber have a conical design and the shaft is really short. This definitely contributes to the enhanced flavor of this particular tank. Juice flow control is easy to see and use. Slide it to the right and it's closed. Slide it to the left and it's open. The AFC is nice and smooth with a wide range of possibilities. It has a stopper on each end and is easy to adjust while on a mod.

The deck is a single coil postles deck with a unique way of wicking. The wicking on this tank is really short compared to most single coil decks. There is a U shape slot that the end of your wicks are placed into. I tend to use a pancake type method to assure the end of the wicks do not get caught in the threading of the deck. The bottom of the deck is press fit and the 510 is not adjustable. The 510 looks to be made out of brass. Threading on the 510 is smooth and this tank sits flush on all of my mods. The tank is definitely taller than say the Serpent Mini, Merlin Mini, and Oumier White Bone Mini yet it still maintains a compact stature.

But Deuces, How Does She Vape?

This tank gives a very flavorful vape. The airflow it has is wide ranging to accommodate anyone from a loose MTL vaper to a medium type lung hitter. If you are going to MTL this tank you really need to change the DT to a much more narrower one. This is not a wide open airflow tank at all. Don’t get me wrong for a single coil tank it can chuck some clouds but it's not a Clouds Bro tank by any stretch of the imagination and to be honest I don’t think it’s built for that. This tank is built for flavor. The DT on this tank though is a total fail. It gets really hot when you chain vape it. It’s a problem that's easily remedied but I have to bring it up. Come on Ehpro, get with the program and use a Delrin DT. I use my Merlin DT on it ( Courtesy of @Huckleberried ) and it looks and vapes fantastic with that DT.

Right now I’m running their stock pre installed, pre wicked NiCr .5 coil in NiCr mode on my HT Slice and the vape is excellent. I get fantastic flavor at a relatively low 40 watts. I can chain vape it all day and the tank keeps up with every pull I take. Because it’s a single coil tank it does not fly through the juice. Definitely an efficient tank where juice consumption is concerned.

Conclusion:

I have to say that I am really impressed with all of the single coils tanks that have been coming out lately. This tank is no different. I tried as hard as I could to come up with more cons for this tank but I just couldnt. I’m not going to just make stuff up. This is a really solid single coil tank. It’s right up there with the Serpent Mini, Merlin Mini, and White Bone Mini in my opinion. The postless deck definitely distinguishes it in a very crowded sub category. If you put a gun to my head and told me to pick one single coil tank I could only use for the rest of my life this tank would be in the running. It’s a well designed single coiler that is DeucesJack approved.

Nice review.
Even when I don't use them I have found I like it when they have a build already setup in them.

How would you rank your top 3 single coil RTA'S @Deucesjack?
Right now as it stands Serpent Mini, Merlin Mini, Oumier White Bone Mini, and this tank are all very close. I'm waiting on an Ammit and a Cthulhu MTL, and a Serpent Alto. Once they're in and reviewed I'm gonna wrap it all up with one big Single Coil Shootout.
