Hi, I've been doing a solid few days of research. My current favorite look and accessory wise is the Nova 200w mod. I do not need the wattage though, is likely enjoy to sit around 475f. Having as much control as possible over the voltage, wattage, and temperature and even the certain physical aspects like the thermal coefficient is greatly desired. I'm currently looking to get the Zeus dual rta tank to pair with the mod but obviously this past is mainly focused on the mod. What do you think?

It may be worth mentioning I'm currently set in using stainless steel 316L and rython in my coil builds

Hard to say in that price range, maybe the drag 2? A lot of people like the drag, never used one though so can't speak to tc. Vaporesso mods if you can find one cheap. Usually around 40 something to 50, maybe 60 depending if you're looking at the revenger, switcher, polar or luxe. The tcr is a bit different, sort of presets from the factory but settings for ss316L. Also has custom temp curves you can set from the mod. If you're looking for real detailed stuff you'd probably want a dna 250c but doubt you're going to find one under $50.

There's the ipv eclipse with the yihi sx 420 chip for around $40 from some places. Can't speak to the durability of it though, I've seen a few people having issues with them. That could be any mod though. It would likely have more tc adjustments as far as tcr than the vaporesso or voopoo mods.

Regarding the IPV Eclipse, bought one had it not even 3 days. Fell off my kitchen table, and battery door tabs broke off. The ones where the battery door slides under when locked. Now it's a $50 paperweight.

Man that sucks. Yea a lot of mods don't handle drops too well. Some better than others but I try to treat it like a cellphone or other electronics. They don't handle drops well either. Buddy of mine slipped a new cell into the chest pocket of his tshirt (why I don't know). He leaned over and only dropped it around 3 1/2ft. Instant toast on a $650 phone. He had the insurance plan but it still cost him another $150. Picked up one of those otterbox cases for the second one.

If someone's rough on their mods then something like a geekvape aegis or aegis legend might be a better pick. Not sure how the tc works on them and they are a little more than the $50 the op was looking for but they're sturdier.

The Voopoo Drag does do TC pretty well plus the V1 has it's own software so you can tweak the settings kind of like a DNA chip.

Now is the time to jump though since the Cyber Monday sales are still going in some places.

The Drag 2 shouldn't run more than $45

If it does come back and someone will help find you a better deal.
