Bartending, a rude goddess, and the return of superheroes are what you can expect this spring anime season. There's a new season full of anime to check out this Spring like Akira Toriyama's Sand Land: The Series, the return of My Hero Academia, and the highly anticipated Kaiju No. 8. Across Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Hulu, and Netflix, as well as others, there are a lot of places to enjoy anime at the moment.

Check out some anticipated series in the video above or the slideshow gallery below, followed by the full list of new Spring season 2024 anime and where to watch them in the U.S. and their respective streaming platforms. Anime listed are available now unless otherwise stated.

Sand Land: The Series (Hulu, Disney+)

One of our most anticipated new anime of the year is Sand Land: The Series, created by the legendary Akira Toriyama – may he rest in peace. The series follows Rao, a sheriff who goes in search of a water source with the help of some mysterious fiends. Studios Sunrise, Anima, and Kamikaze Douga, who collaborated on the Sand Land movie, are back again to work on the 13-episode series. With many anime under these studios’ belts and the movie to boot, Sand Land: The Series looks amazing in its 3D animation. Between this and the recent Trigun Stampede, 3D animation is stepping it up and it’ll be exciting to see where it goes from here. Sand Land: The Series is available now on Hulu and Disney+.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (Hulu, Disney+)

Are you interested in Power Rangers or the Super Sentai series? If so, then this new anime may be the one for you to check out this spring season! Go! Go! Loser Ranger! follows one of the low-level monsters, D, who helps keep up the charade of losing to the world’s guardians, the Dragon Keepers, every week. He becomes fed up with losing hundreds of times and takes it upon himself to finally change things. Yostar Pictures is the animation studio behind the series, which looks great so far with its over-the-top Power Ranger theme. D isn’t the most capable monster, so it’ll be interesting to see how he plans to turn the tables as the season goes on. Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is now available on Hulu and Disney+.

Wind Breaker (Crunchyroll)

Another new series premiering this spring season looks to be full of fisticuffs. Wind Breaker follows Haruka, a student who decides to join a high school full of delinquents so he can grow stronger and become the best of the best. CloverWorks, the studio behind Spy x Family and Bocchi the Rock!, is taking on animation production on this title, so we expect to see some amazing, action-packed visuals. We look forward to learning more about Haruka and why he’s so adamant about his singular goal. Wind Breaker is available now on Crunchyroll.

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 3 (Crunchyroll)

Explooosion! The widely popular KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! is back with Season 3. It’s been a few years now since we last saw Kazuma and the gang in Season 2, and the movie fans are stoked for more. Drive, the studio that worked on To Your Eternity Season 2 and the KonoSuba spin-off, is back for the new season. If you’re looking to scratch that isekai itch and haven’t checked out KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, now’s the time. The series is available now on Crunchyroll.

BARTENDER Glass of God (Crunchyroll)

If you’re of the drinking age and want to feel inspired, this new seinen series could be a good fit for you. Bartender: Glass of God follows Ryuu, an amazing bartender who makes the perfect drinks for whoever walks into their bar. (There really is an anime for almost anything!) Liber, the studio that worked on the rom-com series The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, is heading up the animation side of this series. So far, Bartender: Glass of God has a relaxing vibe, and we expect to see a huge variety of patrons that Ryuu can assist as the season progresses. The series is available now on Crunchyroll.

Laid-Back Camp Season 3 (Crunchyroll)

Our favorite camping friends are back! Laid-Back Camp returns with Season 3 this year. The series follows Rin and her friends as they embark on yet more camping adventures together. Some are better at it than others, so there’s bound to be shenanigans. Studio 8bit, which is known for Blue Lock and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, will be taking the animation reins from C-Station this season. If you’re looking for a light-hearted slice-of-life this spring season, Laid Back Camp is a great choice to dive into. The series is available now on Crunchyroll.

Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night (HIDIVE)

Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night is a new original drama series from the studio behind Oshi no Ko. Premiering this spring, it follows Mahiru, a student who loses her confidence and passion for art until she meets a mysterious stranger. The two bond over their trials and tribulations and decide to turn things around. Outside of Oshi no Ko, studio Doga Kobo has other notable series like Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun and Plastic Memories. So far, the series has beautiful visuals which incorporate the art and music that’s being showcased. If you’re a fan of Oshi no Ko, you should definitely give Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night a try. The series is available now on HIDIVE.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc (Crunchyroll, 5/12)

The super popular shonen Demon Slayer is back with the Hashira Training Arc! Last time we saw Tanjiro and friends, they just overcame yet another difficult battle alongside a shocking reveal. Now it seems like the calm before the storm as Tanjiro and the rest of Demon Slayer Corps prepare for the trials that lie ahead. ufotable continues to be the animation studio behind the series, so we look forward to seeing the Hashira potentially show off this arc. The new Demon Slayer season will premiere May 12 on Crunchyroll.

My Hero Academia Season 7 (Crunchyroll, 5/4)

Speaking of popular shonen anime, My Hero Academia is returning with Season 7. Midoriya and friends just went through probably the most important battle they have faced so far… such devastation with losses on both sides. With renewed faith and potential ally support on the horizon, this season looks to be shaping up to be yet another climatic show of action-packed highs. Season 7 of My Hero Academia will premiere May 4 on Crunchyroll.

Kaiju No. 8 (Crunchyroll)

Lastly, another highly anticipated series of the year is here with Kaiju No. 8. The series follows Kafka, a man who dreams of being on the Defense Corps to kill kaijus. His dream was all but dead until a shocking event made him part kaiju with supernatural powers. Production I.G., the studio behind various seasons of Attack on Titan and Haikyu!!, is producing the animation for this new series. Production I.G. knows a thing or two about giant monsters, so we look forward to seeing the kaiju fighting action as the season progresses. Kaiju No. 8 is available now on Crunchyroll.
