black rubbery screen like wick?

I was at my local vape shop and they have gotten in some new very cheap rebuildable tanks and it came with like a black rubbery screen like wick. I have never seen anything like it nor did they. Does anyone have any information on what it is?

SS mesh wick? I've seen the term slug wick used.

Ok I looked up ss mesh wick and that is what is was. I've been vaping off and on for a while and never seen or herd of them. Thanks guys
