box mods

not sure if this is the right place to post this but, I want to try to build my own box mod. is there a thread with some instructions and maybe suggested parts somewhere on this forum?
any help is appreciated.
(and before you say it, no I am not goin to blow my face off. I am well versed in most electronics and all things mechanical. thanks)
