Brand new to mech mods- What battery should I get with this setup?

Hello,

So I am brand new to the mech mod game. I have been researching for the past few days but would like the help of some experienced people. What battery would be safe to use with this setup?

I wanted to get this mod-http://www.3fvape.com/mechanical-mod/23169-av-medieval-gyre-style-hybrid-mechanical-mod-black-brass-1-x-18650.html#.Ww2zhJ6ZeV4

This atomizer-http://www.3fvape.com/rebuildable-atomizer-supply/19310-authentic-vandy-vape-bonza-rda-rebuildable-dripping-atomizer-w-bf-pin-black-stainless-steel-24mm-diameter.html#.Ww2zhZ6ZeV4

I found this battery chart (but i'm not exactly a pro at understanding what I need)- https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/attachments/0d3843a4-72a3-4dbd-9155-d7a8a785b854-jpeg.744891/

I need some help figuring out how to make this build safe and reliable.

Thanks in advance for your help and patience with a newbie!

Thanks!

Another quick question, the atomizer doesn't come with coils. I was going to buy some prebuilt coils. Does it matter what ohm rating the coils are at?

this pack-http://www.3fvape.com/wick-wire-mesh/22396-authentic-avidartisan-steamcoil-6-in-1-a1-ni80-ss316-pre-built-coil-kit-019-021-025-03-ohm-20-pcs.html#.Ww26_Z6ZeV4

comes with- 0.19 / 0.21 / 0.25 /0.3 ohm coils

I read that the sony vct5a is 2500mah, and 30a continuous if no temp cutoff at 80C.
Using the ohms law calculator, I put 3.6 volts and 25a, it says ohms should be 0.144
Does this mean I need a coil at 0.14 to run it safely at 25a?

30a said a coil at 0.12, so theoretically does that mean I could safely run the device with any coil from 0.12-0.144?

also does using dual coils change the ohm value at all?

I'm not sure if you are trolling or not. But leaning on the safe side.. never mind mech mods. You don't need them and do not have the experience or expertise to use them. All the questions you ask, you should already KNOW before even touching a mechanical mod. I'm sorry, but I am not going to help you blow your face off. If you are to lazy to do your own research and learn what you need to know before venturing into the mech zone, don't expect me to give you information on how to use a mod far beyond what you are ready for. (based on the questions you are asking).

For one thing, I don't know where you are getting 0.14 and 0.12 from. And I suspect neither do you. If you want to trust what "30a" said... you are looking to take far more risk than I am. NOBODY tells me what resistance I can safely build at.. I KNOW according to each specific battery and charts what the safer builds are. In other words.. trust your own work, not what someone else tells you. It is your face, and you will be the one to suffer if the info is wrong.

Basically, do some serious study about coil building, ohms law, heat flux, wattage, voltage etc and then YOU should be able to answer all the questions you ask on your own. Mech mods are an advanced device. They don't come with training wheels. If you do not possess advanced knowledge on coil building and ohms law, it is very simple.. just don't use a mech.

PS... I researched mechs and resistance and batteries and coil building and ohms law for 8 months before even touching a mechanical mod.

You need to learn how to use RDAs first, with a regulated mod, not a mechanical mod.

Batteries start out at 4.2 volts, fully charged, and go down

Use 4.2 volts when using ohms law to plan builds

Do not exceed your battery's continuous amp limit

This means Only use coils with a resistance Higher than what will pull max continuous amps

Your 0.14 ohms is MINUMUM, I would build higher

RESISTANCE IS CUT IN HALF FOR DUAL COILS

This means if one coil is 0.14 ohms, then having dual coils will change resistance to 0.07 ohms

I just ordered ordered a benecig killer. its a dual 18650 mech box mod. It has a bunch of safety features you don't see with tube mods. 3fvape has it on sale for $38.
