Hey there, first timer here. I'm a noob vaper and I was given a Smok Stick Prince by a coworker to quit smoking. Worked but now my vape isn't working! No, its not turned off...and I just replaced the coil but unfortunately it still won't work. The flashing red light now only happens when I unhook it from the charger. Its been a slow vape death over the last few days as it was only working intermittently and after a few puffs the red light would just start to flash and I couldn't get it to work again.

Anyways, my questions are - any idea how I might be able to fix the problem the stick prince is having right now? And if its just dead, internal battery issue or something, what's the best alternative vape?

    Welcome to VU!

It sounds like it's toast. Usually a constant blinking means an internal error. I suspect the battery has reached it's final day. Almost any other battery mod will work with the tank though.
If you want to stick to internal battery, I'd suggest an Aegis mini, they have a good rep and are pretty cheap.
I'd avoid another smok product if possible though.

OR, check the hardware and pay it forward sections on this forum. A lot of good deals from good people here.

Welcome to the Vu. You definitely came to the right place for damn near any vape related questions. If you do end up on the hardware thread there are tons of good deals on there. Some guy has a dotmod regulated mod for cheap compared to new pricing. Wink wink. But really though this is a great place with tons of great people.

The Aegis Mini should be a massive improvement over what you had.

Are you getting the starter kit or just the mod?

    Welcome to VU :vino:

imo cheapest feasible way out while having some run time would be built in battery with all the Mah you can get. For that, Voopoo Drag Mini and Eleaf Nowos both have 4400Mah batteries which run longer than the 3000Mah stick or 2200Mah Aegis mini. If running smok coils in Prince tank [from the stick], or any other wattage needed for DTL factory coil, 2200 won't last long.

But I'd still suggest a dual 18650 mod [new or used]+ 4 batteries + charger. But if you want smaller for purse/handbag, with a single battery mod you could carry a spare charged battery. If you can invest a little more, you could get mod/batteries/charger, and a smaller built in or single battery one for the shorter times your away from home, out of the car, etc...Then you'd have a back up too.
