California could crack down on vaping. But could it help teens quit smoking?

We've all thought about this at one point or another.

This guy had the balls to put it out for all to see.

Most harm reduction advocates realize that vaping IS replacing smoking in young people who start using nicotine but mentioning it is a no no.

Most people start using nicotine during the teenage years because let's face it, school along with social interactions, friendships, etc... all cause huge amounts of stress.

If you think about it at 15 yrs old just a few short years ago you were playing with your transformers or barbies without a care in the world now all of a sudden you are a "young adult" with all types of responsibilities.

That's pretty stressful.

What does nicotine do?

It helps people cope with stress and anxiety as well as improving brain function.

Teen nicotine use has little to do with the evil big tobacco or the child freindly bla, bla bla...
It's about throwing large amounts of stress on young minds that can not handle it that causes some to self medicate.

Make it impossible for teens to vape and they will smoke because there is not as much enforcement or so called prevention in action.

I do not advocate for teen vaping but given a choice I would rather see them vaping than smoking.
