Camera or Cell Phone for doing Vaping Reviews?

As most of you know I do vaping product reviews with using my cell phone.

I think a lot of You Tubers use better equipment like a real camera, and external mic plus special lighting.

Do you think a camera like the one below would have better quality over using a cell phone or just a waste of money?

I’ve been an amateur photographer since 1984. What makes the difference in photography is the size of the sensor. Bigger sensor more information can be collected. I have been shooting photos with just my iPhone for several years now. For the purpose of video reviews a cell phone should work just fine. There are a lot of good video apps out there that will give you a better quality video than the native camera app. There is also many add on microphones that are not very expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I still use my dslr if I got out with the intent of shooting photos but for those spur of the moment shots I have gotten great photos and video with my phone.

I've watched some of your videos, personally i would waste money on a camera. Your videos look just fine.

Depends on the cell phone and the quality of the camera it has and imaging software....

In general yes a stand alone dedicated Video and audio system and lighting would give best results....

On my last video I used below attached to my cell phone with a adapter

Man I like your reviews. I'm not sure that you need a $700 camera to make them better. The quality of it is nice but you can probably find a cheaper one and go that route.

I used this adapter which can also be used say for a cracked tablet screen with a wireless mouse instead of repairing the screen.
