I remember a few years back when Jerry had a heart attack on a friggin' a live broadcast.

Yeah, he was a disturbed young man.
Had gotten pulled over for a dui a few years back, sent to jail and tried to off himself once before.

I tried out for master chef when they went to NOLA.
They asked me what I would do if he said something negative about my food. I told them nothing. I wanted to get on the show. I was told that my response wasn’t combative enough, but my food was good. Had I told them the truth -that I would hit with a cast iron skillet, I probably would have gotten on the show.

Ahh the fabricated drama of 'reality' shows. No use for it personally, plenty (too much?) genuine drama in the world for me.

Couldn’t agree more in 90% of cases.
I do like a lot his kitchen nightmares shows and was a big fan of Bourdain also. Bourdain was more educational though.
Reality killed the video star.
