it's a wire to wire terminal block. im not sure what the exact/actual name. but, google image "wire to wire terminal block" will give you a hint.

That's how i build mine, seen it on youtube too

I thought I was the first person who thought of this idea. but clearly it wasn't since you watched the same coil winding concept on youtube.. maybe we just share the same thoughts. :D

Well, he said the whole part is a terminal strip. That's how they come (as you have pictured above). And there are so many different kinds. Hope that helps!

Thanks!! Went to fry's electronics here in San Diego - all they had were positive terminal blocks .... I'll try radio shack - if there are any still open around here lol
