As I love to cook, I'm planning on making the family dinner for the 25th:
Just started prepping the main course: what else but brisket????
the below pictures are the brisket in its "raw" form, liberally slathered in Dijon Mustard & finally, with my special blend of seasonings in dry rub. Into the fridge with the 20# of Pork Belly I've got curing & desert: chocolate peppermint cheesecake.
I won't start the scalloped potatoes until the morning of the 25th...hopefully I'll remember to document that in this thread as well!
