how come plain 24 gauge wire and 24 gauge wire claptoned with 32 gauge had virtually the same resistance?

electricity takes the path of least resistance, ie the 24g core. the outter wrap is basically a heatsink and juice trap to allow more juice to be vaporized when you hit the happy button on your mod. when we first started using claptons, most people would un wrap the legs so that only the core wires went into the post holes.
