Small ultrasonic cleaner. It gets all the threads clean and takes off everything off. Oil, juice and dirt easily.

I very carefully clean my MOD with a paper towel slightly damp with some window cleaner. I do not expose my MOD's to moisture.

Tanks and Atomizers get washed with HOT Water and Dish Washing liquid.

Depends on what material I'm cleaning. Different metals with different finishes require different cleaners. Your question is too general to get a specific response. Do you have something specific in mind you're trying to clean?

An ultrasonic with a non toxic jewelry cleaner is essential IMO

White vinegar or tomato ketchup.

Then I polish it up with a good metal polish.

I have used white vinegar, vodka and rubbing alcohol. I hit the threads pretty often if I am using them.

Soap and water if I start to notice a drop.

Thank you for the recommendation, have just placed an order for a tub,
I just make sure I give it a good rinse.
It really works great, don't need use much elbow grease. Shines up very, very easy and little dab will do ya ;)
