Getting close to 3 yrs, personally... and lots of us round here have even longer terms of abstinence.

Yep. What other method of quitting has a 61% success rate after 24 months? That's an order of magnitude better than any other method.

That's the aspect that most impresses my doctor; he always just asks "Still vaping?" He seems to realize that, at least in my own case, as long as I'm vaping, I'm not smoking -- though he can probably detect that by smell. Shortly after I had switched to vaping and went in for a routine checkup, one of the nurses was taking my BP, sitting quite close to me, and suddenly asked "did you quit smoking?" She knew how long I'd been a diehard smoker. My doc says people quit smoking all the time... but until vaping, most of them didn't stay quit.
