Why do you want to build higher ohms? And, what do you mean by higher? The higher the guage wire, the higher ohms. Also, the longer the wire, the higher ohms. If you check out pegasus1337 on youtube, he talks about how to build the perfect coil for your needs.

I've got it on a DNA30 mod I use it on, and lower ohms makes the ohm reading flash, from what I've read means it can't regulate.

For more flexibility in regulated wattage you'll want to come in somewhere in the 2 ohm range. You don't say what type of coil and wick you are using. For standard silica use 32 gauge wire and 5 to 6 wraps to start. With a micro coil and cotton etc. 8 wraps of 30 gauge on a 5/64th drill bit will get you in the vicinity. You can make any adjustments from there.
