Coil Standards?

I just took apart an old V8T8 Cloud beast coil and only found 4 claptoned coils. My question is how do they classify as octuple coils?

I just read somewhere hat claptons are single strand core with wraps around it and fused Clapton is double stranded

These are single core so its not like they can say they are counting the cores. I don't get it. Are they counting the wrap wire too? That would be crap

My way of thinking its a Quad Coil head.

a wire assembly with two leads equals ONE coil in my little pea brain.
