It took about an hour and a half from start to finish plus vape breaks.

I really appreciate and surprise myself. Pretty good for an ex junkie alcoholic if you ask me.

Light stain, polyurethane tomorrow.

I am trying this new thing where if I start something I finish it that day or atleast try to.

It's cherry, so it's better not to stain it. I used minwax semi gloss Polyurethane. My buddy swears by the stuff. He's a master Carpenter so I can't argue. Update first coat. Sanding, then 2 more.

To answer your question about cost. The kit was 32.00, tools were 10 but I had a dimple press made from an old coiling tool. Min wax was 7.00 don't get off brand polyurethane it'll show big time.

Foam brush was 2 dollars for 2, sand paper 2.79.

So right under 60.

Gotta love my gangster ass goose build mat.

The tools ( unibit) will cost you 20 bucks. I would recommend spending the money if you can and get the brand Irwin. My buddy gave me the smaller one out of his set to keep, the cheap ones I got on eBay are dull as fuck now.

If you decide to make the choice, I'll help in any way I can. I can send you the exact box I have.

I might make a few of these and see if I can sell them. The bottle the kit came with I really think is the best kit bottle. I fucking hate when you squonk and get no suck back. ( I'm all about my suck back)

Thanks guys. I'm new to mod making, but I'm not new to wood working and handy man type work. With the exception of computers it's my only other skill besides shit talking, and beating off.

Fuck add another 13 for tin snips, and 4 bucks for a grind Stone. You cannot do this without those two things

Final coat sanded very lightly and applied last night at 10. Woke up to a great finished squonk.
