Continuous current tactical warhead RDA

Is the center 510 pin supposed to be floating?
It doesn't unscrew seems to just sit inside.

I want to use this rda on my continuous current Manhattan but not if this is unsafe. Seems unsafe to me

Just needs to make a connection to complete the circuit. Perfectly safe if the pin protrudes enough
