Corrosion on battery terminals!

Hi everyone!

I just started squonking (been vaping for about 5 years) so I got the vandy vapes pulse regulated mod with the vandy chip. I've used it for just 1 day and I've been using it with 18650 adaptor.

This morning I changed my battery and noticed some white buildup on the negative contact post... I cleaned it and it is working just fine... Just wondering if this is bad or dangerous?

The battery that was in there had nothing on it, the adaptor had nothing in it. There was a very small amount of juice on positive connection

I've never had this happen with any other APV I've ever had and I've had upwards of 10. Any thoughts?

Thank you,
Chris

Was it on there when you first used it?
I bought a VBOY a while back and it had a powder like residue inside the battery door.
I just wiped it off and everything is fine.
Maybe something from the manufacturing process.

Hmm, possibly... it wasn't a lot so it could've gone unnoticed.

I would keep an eye out for more juice on the positive connection.
if it keeps happening then you may have a potential problem.

I have the same mod; and, haven’t noticed any buildup of any sort.
But, I use the refill bottle to minimize spillage. I have noticed with attys that can be oversquonked that leakage can slip in through the back door near the battery.

Just be vigilant
