so it I will create one myself -for personal use- and going to use a 11.1V 3S lipo battery lithium style, BUT the battery is capable of continuous discharge of 128 amps while the dna max at 55 amps.......

from what I understand since it's 11.1V and 3S lipo and lithium style it's okay cause the volts are the most important!

ideas?

I'm not too familiar with the DNA200 specs, but 11.1 sounds about right. The chip knows how to limit the amperage to the range it can handle, ie it won't let you fire a coil if the voltage/resistance calc is over the chips limit. If it was the other way around (if the battery amp limit was less than the chips) then you'd have a problem as your chip would be capable of firing the device at an amperage that could fry your batteries.

At the risk of sounding condescending, please make sure you've done your research and know that you're being safe. Good luck!

Output current and voltage ranges are irrelevant. Input ranges are what matter.
Input voltage range is 9.0 - 12.6 volts
Input current range is .5 - 23 amps

Do you mind posting the list of parts and links from where you got them.
