I plugged in my vape to my computer at lunch to charge it. Just picked it up to go for a few puffs and the mod is warm to the touch which is unusual. Never felt it get warm before. Thought maybe I better shut it off to cool but it won't shut down. It is usually 5 clicks and it shuts off. Now I just get a message that says low res. Help

You using the correct cable for it?

Yes. I changed the coil and it seems to be completely dead now, won't even power up. I wonder if the warmth was it trying to fire with a bum coil and it just totally drained the battery. It is no longer warm to the touch now so that's a good thing.

Seems to be okay now after a total re-charge. I guess the random firing from the bad coil completely drained the battery. Hoping there is no lasting damage.
