Credit has to go to @Bigkevx57 and I posted this in the post your builds but I think a coil like this deserves a thread of it's own, I'm editing a build video for it slowly as I get time but check her out

My wife looked over my shoulder and thought that I was looking at jewelry. That is amazing work. What is your process for flattening it?

just lubing up the toothless pliers and wire wit some juice and applying soft but snug consistent pressure and you cant really spin it slow atleast i find that spinning it kinda fast and just not slowly is almost always better

Seems rather complicated, as many oddball coils do, but it DOES look like a juice-sponge, heater..

Sweet looking Atty jewelry you have there. played with some flattened coils awhile ago. just make sure you clean them well. I was seeing metal dust in stuck in my wicking.

I'm seeing either 0.28 and 0.44 or 1.26 and 1.44 or some combination thereof on the ohm reader.

Wow that is amazing.

I've been making my own coils, haha I don't think I'll ever get to that! This is bordering craftsmanship.

great link but nothing i can find on how to make that coil. i got the prep down, mine looked just like that photo before i flattened it. it came out super sloppy. I used 24g and 32g nichrome as well. i guess i didnt lube it enough or go fast enough.

More lube never hurt anyone, and the faster you go with a lighter touch with the pliers worked out better for me
