Hi All

Was wanting some advice on drops/ml straight from the concentrate bottle. I use flavourart concentrates the most and have worked out that using a 1ml syringe and removing the plunger and dropping straight from the concentrate bottle itself = 5 drops per 0.1ml so 10 X 5 = 50 drops per ml

Does this sound/feel about right? any other thoughts advise?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark!
I ran a controlled test at 70 degrees using several different flavors and with syringe, pipette, and FA bottle, The results of these various combinations varied from 35 drops/ml to 44 drops/ml so I just use 40 drops/ml for my small sample tests. It's been working fine for me! When I make a 30ml or larger amount I use actual ml measurements. If You haven't already; check out http://www.e-liquid-recipes.com it is very helpful in this area and is the best I've found!

There are a few different bottle/dropper types used by different FA vendors. Your count sounds about right for those thin, plastic "needle tip" ones that ecigexpress has started using. To know for sure you got it right, measure out a full ml and see if it's 50. Droppers that do 50 drops/ml make for EASY mixing, for sure!

Hello to all at Vu. how many ml concentrate from either cappella, tfa, or inawera would i add to 20ml of premix 50/50 nicotine strength 18 to get a medium to strong flavour but not to be to strong an sickly. any ideas how many ml concentrate to start with.

Personally, I'm more about conistency. For the average size, I say it's 33 per ml. For the skinny ones, I say it's around 40, give or take. Drops is easy for samples, mixing by weight, I'm still using drops. If I count those drops out, they're pretty much the same anyway.

Hello buddy thanks the advice. i was goin to use Plastipak syringe what has measurements of between 0.5 up to 2.5ml. would have thought using this for measurements would be accurate as this type of syringe is known to be used to give medecines by mouth to babies and infants. As you can see am new on here and am wanten find info out to try mix me own liquid and add flavour or either buy Pre-mix Pg/vg nicotine base to start with and have more choice in any flavour .

Welcome to VU, Gary. I completely missed this part. For each of those brands, it's different, and depends on the flavor you're using. Some are stronger than others between brands, and also flavors within the same brand. In other words, it's hard to say without knowing what your mixing. There are threads around this section for TFA, Inawera and CAP. There's a spreadsheet that can give you a general idea of how much to use, but really, it's a matter of how you prefer the taste.

These are baselines only. You can use less or more for your own tastes.

Inawera - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BNQ1H1SwU68vABHjTk7VufuOm5hWEiTIJfaEREJtOW4/edit?pli=1#gid=3
TFA - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16ai72vgkSiN7ULALHkJ2LZh5zNhKtEOV_xstJ90-L0E/edit?pli=1#gid=0
CAP - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1agXdua8bEp8MV4z1mn3qX4AXCS4P0RxQXcy2lDa7ccc/pub?gid=21

There are several versions floating around, but these are the ones I have on hand.

By anychance would you know if Pg/vg nicotine base liquid is available in uk as was considering in trien that at first to give me choice and trial to add my own flavour. Pg/vg nicotine base liquid seems widely available in USA were one can even select what strength nic an Pg/vg flavorless liquid.

I don't know where you would get it, but yes, we have a lot of vapers here that live in the UK. First one that springs to mind is @conanthewarrior. I don't know if he gets his PG/VG and nic online, or not. I'm assuming so? Hopefully, he'll see this and pop in. It's driving me nuts that I can't think of who else is there, off the top of my head. He's a good guy, and should be able to help you with that info.

My friend Huckleberried hopefully conanthewarrior will see this and be able to help me out and give me info on this as i know it is widely available in USA but should imagine they may not ship because of there strict security measures with it bein liquid but also if did the duty charged could well be rather expensive. There is just one Seller have come across in the whole of uk that seems to sell Pg/vg nic base flavorless liquid is fs-ecig.com in just 100ml with choice of Pg/vg nic. Have you heard of this company as i cant find many reviews on this and the chances are there pg/vg nic base liquid could be china import . i would have thought more uk companies would mix a pg/vg nic base flavorless liquid to give vapers here in uk a choice .

Hi Gary,

http://www.justvape247.com/unflavou...ect-nicotine-strength--pgvg-ratio-12616-p.asp

UK site, I get my nic, vg and pg here (I use the 72mg base myself but they do pre mixed - seems expensive pre mixed)
Thanks buddy . Have checked that and yes your right expensive and also its well over the top Priced for the size bottles . Infact could buy decent Pr-mix same Price unless Its a Price mistake in what would doubt.May be in the future more will supply this as am sure if Priced right and quality it will sell.

Thank you buddy the info and appreciated. i checked ltecigs an yes they have 50/50 pg/vg 18nicotine strength flavorless liquid but still a bit on expensive side for 1000ml at £60 what incl 20% vat an,delivery. 2nd one cloudhouse vapour is france an not be wanten go that far for shipment. if i had the measurements to mix 1litre of 50/50 pg/vg 18 nicotine strength i would try mix it meself if known the exact amount to measure of pg/vg an the nicotine to mix together an then it obviously be less expensive. Have never mixed anythink like this. or if anyone already done this mix an quantity any info with the exact measurements would be helpfull.

You're better off getting the ingredients separately and mixing your own..

I get my PG/VG here: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Lubrisolve-Online

And nicotine here: http://www.piratesvape.uk/

And here's a nice simple calculator to work out percentages: http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create
