Dry hits question

Good afternoon, I have a vandy vape triple rta. I have a general question about every 10 hits her self I get a dry hit. If I unscrew the top I see all these air bubbles come up and then it’s almost like cotton is oversaturated. It then becomes a process of rinse and repeat and I haven’t had this issue before any thoughts

I had that issue with a Melo II Mini when I first got it where it vapor locked and loosening the top cap lets the coil soak up liquid. (Bubbles) After a few coils it no longer does it and I have not modified the tank so either it was the coils that came with the Pico Kit or something broke in.

It is not the wicking because loosening the cap allows the liquid to flow freely so it is a Vapor Lock situation where it is not allowing the liquid to saturate the wicking. This is caused by negative pressure or basically a vacuum being formed.
