Not even going to look at that libtard crap. Nothing but fear and hate mongering from socialist communist asswipes.

Now do we really wanna go politics here?
Sorry all. was meant for political crap thread.
My big oops.

Personally I think both sides are crap and was just poking a stick at some extremists over there.

My bad will leave this thread alone now...

I'm not really "back" but I sure do miss you fuggers... Just not interested in casting pearls before swine in the rest of the forum. The snow looks lervely, @JuicyLucy.

Got the Aegis I bought from Passafire for a damn decent price -- love the bright red, but whoda thunk it would also have a stripe of green down the "pleather"? I guess it's a christmas mod. :D

That is rather odd, the green stripe. Glad you got such a smokin' deal though!

Yeah it really was a good deal, $42 shipped, and he sent it 2-day priority, which was amazing. :) And I just checked tracking, on the pair of 26650s I finally ordered, and though I really hadn't expected them before the end of the week, due to the ground shipping, they hit the ATL distro center today around noon, so it's possible they'll be here tomorrow! So I'll finally be able to experience my Aegis's with the batteries they're really meant to use. Which is probably a good thing, most of our 18650s are getting on in age; xmas is when the battery fairy comes.

I been thinking on batteries too. Some of mine are over 4 years old and was wondering about them still being safe yet they are getting the hell used out of them since I quit the cigs vaping at 50 watts with no problems. Some days I am vaping over 40 ml a day and the batteries are lasting and not getting hot so dont know if I should worry or not. I have 10 26650's in rotation and I am not sure which ones are 4 yeas old or 2 years old but with all of them over 2 years, that would be kinda costly to replace all 10 just because.

Well, remind me, because I'm old, I fergit. I know you like DtL vaping most of the time, but it's not at super-low resistance is it? By which I mean, 'stupid low'... you know what I mean. :D If they're still holding a good charge and you're not doing anything inadvisable with 'em, then I wouldn't worry too much. I really only consider my own sometimes because the Aegis just doesn't get as much oomph out of an 18650 as my Minibooks do; the 30Q's (I like best!) are 3000mAh, but in the Aegis they act a lot like the 2000mAh internal CF4 batteries. But my oldest 25Rs are about 3 yrs old, and the spawn uses them in his 2 2-batt mods, and doesn't seem to have any problem, though he does sometimes vape at fairly low resistance (those Mesh Pro coils). However a couple of our HE2s are gonna need recycling soon, because he's as big a klutz as I am, and has dropped his mod more than once, and now the flat-tops of one set of the HE2's are looking a bit concave. But xmas is soon. :) Given his recent love of the low-resistance Mesh Pro coils, I think I'll probably get him some 30 amp batts for xmas, to use with those... just because I'm Mom and I worry about the fruit of my loins. :D

But doncha know you're supposed to label those puppies. :D For a while I didn't have my 30Q's labelled, because one set were re-wrapped, and though the pink wraps are really close in color, they're not identical... plus, the 2nd set still have their original paper labels on the outside of the pink plastic wrappers, so it was easy to tell 'em apart -- but I had to rewrap one from that 2nd set last week, due to a nick I spotted -- so now the originals are "a" set, and the 2nd set are "b" set.

I labeled a bunch of my 18650 to try to keep them as matched sets but ejuice plays hell on permanent markers ink.

It is my understanding the clones are pretty good but I never tried one

I never been one who had to have an authentic. I support those who do make authentic and will buy them when possible but when the price spread between authentic and clone is great, I will go for the clone every time :p

Been looking at these squonk RDA's http://www.3fvape.com/75-squonk-bottom-feeder-atomizer

Yeah, the market for squonk atties is finally affordable with a great number of choices, which of course, wasn't the case until recently

I don't even pretend to try to keep up with it anymore

Yeah, PG plays hell with ANY ink, but I rarely ever have ejuice on my batteries. Still don't expect my "a" and "b" markings to last too long, just from rubbing off.

On marking batteries. I use a Brother P-Touch label maker. Stay on nice as long as you clean the battery first with an alcohol wipe or somesuch. And thin enough that they cause no problem for me.

Found this elsewhere on the web.
15% off @ Bull City (code: ghost)

Thx for the BCF info! The clove cigar seems to be a hit with the spawn and his vaping buddie, so I gotta get some more TFA Cubano.

He has a Dymo label maker, the newfangled kind that's electronic and spits out a paper label, and I think I can probably use those on my own 18650s, since there's no real issue fitting them into my Minibooks. I did get my 26650s yesterday, but I'm not sure how well they'll fit the Aegis if I put a paper label on them. Have to experiment! :)

The bigger batteries do make the Aegis a little heavier, but it's not a drastic change, and it sure will be nice, having 4500mAh. :)

We're planning on a far more modest xmas this year, and probably won't even put up the big xmas tree, but get a small tabletop version, since we have the new feline and she's destructive as all hell. She's *starting* to get the drift that there are some tables she's not allowed on, and the big puzzle table is one of them, and that's where we'd put the tabletop xmas tree. But we need to be saving toward a) the new AC system, and b) a 2nd vehicle, rather than charging up our credit cards as we did last year.

The wife unit and I gave up on the sacrificial conifers a few years back.

We will never have a "real" tree, too big a fire hazard. We have a real nice 7' artificial that already has the white lights in it, so we don't have to go bonkers with the colored lights, for it to look nice. But we went ALL OUT! last year, so this year, we'll just have some modest gift giving... Might have the aunt and stepfather over for a buffet/deli meal on xmas day, just because they're both getting on in years and I'd like to enjoy them while they're still with us.

I decided to change my avatar to reflect my feelings for pretty much everyone on this forum except for all y'all, and one or two others who've always been nice to me, and MOST of the mods/admin. Everyone else can eat shit and die.

Gotta admit, I do like looking at the Christmas lights still.

You'd love my street then. Seems like about every other house has the "Tacky lights, tacky lights, it's christmas time in the suburbs." :giggle:

The first xmas we were here, we put 'em up too, we were so delighted to finally have a home of our own. But since then, everytime I've asked my husband if he's interested in doing that again, his answer is a very succinct "Fuck no!" :giggle: He grumbled last year about all the indoor decorating, the tree and all, but since it was the first xmas our spawn was back home in about 6 yrs, I thought it was well worth it -- also all the credit card plundering. :D

Yep I think that line runs all the way to Canada? I know it is hitting me yesterday and today.

It got pretty nasty here around 3 am. I woke up around 2 and was sick most of yesterday so I slept my ass off during the day and was wide awake this morning :p Luckily for me the worst went just to our south. Last I heard around 20K people without power this morning just to the east of me. Think they said a tornado was dancing around too this morning.

Just looked at big radar and looks like it will be hitting Andria before long.

Yeah, they're saying around 4pm... the part that's directly due west of us is just now crossing the Alabama border into GA. The cat will be staying in the garage today. :D Which is fine, because I discovered something last night. I was tending to my poor legs and the goddamn itching eczema... and suddenly saw something that explained a lot about why the itching has been so bad, but mysteriously got better when the weather cooled and I started wearing knee-socks, even to sleep in: MOTHERFUCKING FLEA! So I had to clean up my mess of shoes beside my bed, vacuum like a maniac (loving that new Shark!), and spray some DeFlea on the carpet in here, and got the mate to spray some peppermint/clove stuff on the cat, to get any off of her. Told the spawn he was gonna need to spray his feline too, but he'll need to get her claws trimmed at PetSmart before attempting that, or he won't have any skin left.

I'll have to order some more DeFlea from Amazon, because apparently they've changed the formula on the shit that's available locally, and it doesn't seem to be nearly as effective as the original, to judge from the comments. Our loveseat, couch, and the rug in the living room will also need spraying, since both kitties frequent the living room (though still not at the same time! :giggle:).

A Leaficane going on here right now.
Leaves flying everywhere outside.
Looks like a leaf blizzard.

It was real windy here all day yesterday. From the looks of it the front has died down a lot from what it was this morning. Lets hope it keeps up the speed and moves along quickly.

Damn, might be a lot sooner than 4pm; the outlying parts of it are already getting to my area, so hopefully it will clear on outta here before the mate gets home, since we gotta do the 2nd leg of the grocerying tonight. Oh joy, Walmart.

With having house pets like forever, we never really had a flea problem. Its when we dont have pets that I always noticed fleas. They have a flea pill out now that we give to Rascal monthly. No fleas on his fat ass :p I dont knnow if they have them for cats or not but probably a phone call to your vet would find out. Dont waste your money on flea collars and crap like that. Advantage flea drop medicine works with just a drop or two by their tail monthly.

Dunno if they have that kind for cats (the pill); we don't really have a "regular" vet for Tuxie, we just take her to Planned Pethood for her shots, and she's never been ill. We did have to take Annabel to the vet when we got her, since she seemed so ill, but I dunno, vets charge a lot. We can't use flea collars on Tuxie anyway; she did fine with one, the first summer we had her, but the next summer, she had developed an allergy, and it completely de-furred her throat and made it red and irritated, so no more flea collars for her. The stuff for cats, you have to put it on the back of their head, otherwise they'll just lick it off, not good at all.

That peppermint/clove spray works pretty well, to get the active ones off, and she dislikes the taste, so she doesn't lick it too much once she discovers it. But yeah I think another course of the back-of-the-head drops is probably warranted for both the kitties; Annabel should be old enough for that by now (almost 9 months old). She's strictly an indoor cat at this point, till next spring, but she could pick them up from Tuxie having them. The DeFlea spray is great for carpet and upholstery; it kills fleas at every stage of their development, from egg to adult. We had a RAGING case of them at that last house we rented, due to the landlady being a crazy cat lady; those fuckers were EVERYWHERE... but the DeFlea got rid of them quickly and they stayed gone.
