I cannot get the Bluetooth to pair with my iPhone for the 6 bay Bluetooth efest charger. Anyone have any tips or tricks to make the scan function pick up the charger. Can't even find it on the phone.....

I have the same problem. I have the 6s plus and the app will not pickup the charger. I heard that Efest has not upgraded the app for the iphone 6, 6s, 6s plus or the 7. This is the link that explain's the 3 different app for their chargers. http://www.efestpower.com/index.php?ac=article&at=read&did=454
I emailed them and are waiting on their reply.

I hate money grab shit like that. I have a seriously expensive dsp for my car stereo that has a Bluetooth app and the software is garbage. Why include a feature like this if you aren't going to make it work. I hope it works out for you guys.

Got an email from Efest that said the same thing as the instructions on the web site. I downloaded the app again from the app store and ran it again without any batteries in the charger and low and behold, it worked. No help from Efest so this will be the last charger I will buy from them. My next charger will be the Hohm Base charger.

I don't remember exactly what I had to do, but I believe I downloaded the program via safari... a first. Then I had to go somewhere to give permission to the program I believe... I had a 6S Plus, have a 7 Plus now. Mine works, I don't think I did anything further than Efest's instructions. I will say that occasionally you need to un plug it and "reset it". Should do that anyway, but If it's on too long and you close the program, you may not see the charger at all, or it just won't connect.

Basically, YMMV, but that charger is awesome, and It does work unless it's defective. I will try to find out what I had to do, again, I believe I downloaded it in Safari and had to give permissions to it. I will look. They do work though. I changed my charging current from my phone today once already. Good Luck!

"Apple store on Wednesday (16th Sept. 2015) released iOS9 for iPhone, we Efest have updated for Blu6 charger Bluetooth. Please uninstall the former iOS app, then install the updated one for your iOS9.When you get it, need to change one setting on your phone, for the detailed steps, please check the video at our facebook https://www.facebook.com/Efest-239046279616919/timeline/

Please download the APP as per following instruction:

Andorid: Please follow the steps to install the Efest Android APP by our Efest manual.

iOS: It's live on the App Store, kindly follow this link for the download details:
    Old version: http://www.efestpower.com/index.php?ac=article&at=read&did=422
    New version: http://www.efestpower.com/index.php?ac=article&at=read&did=443 "

Straight from Efest's site. I don't remember what it was, but there's the video on their Facebook to watch, which should take care of you. It truly does work, I love it. E-Syb has a nice 4 Bay out that has Bluetooth as well. It's a great feature IMO.

    Hope this helps/works!

Strange. Maybe try the old program? I just know I downloaded it from Safari... first for me. And then I had to give some sort of permissions since it was an unrecognized app.

I know it can work on the newest OS and Phone since I have the 7 Plus. I'm gonna go through my settings to attempt to figure out what I did... I wish I had a solid answer for how, I just know it works. I have AT&T as well, so presumably there should be no difference in the hardware of our phones. Good luck, and I'll try to report back.

See... it's possible... I'm gonna try to figure it out for you when I have a moment. It's a great feature.

The issue is, when I scan for devices it does not pick up the charger. It doesn't even register the charger in the app. It's just not there.....

Do you have the new version charger or the old? The older version of the charger has the serial number on the side and the new version charger has serial number on the bottom. That could be the difference. Mine is the older version. Pissed they sold me an old charger. So wont order from them again that's for sure!

Hmmm. Mine will do that after a day or two if I don't turn it off. Either it shows up and won't connect, or nothing shows up. If I close the program, and unplug my charger, when I plug it back in it works again. Have you tried that? If not, it may be the solution... I hope so.

You must be special then Google it, I am not the only one with the issue. And yes, it has been unplugged and plugged back in a hundred times along with my phone turned on and off.....

My mom says I'm special... lol.

I wasn't trying to be condescending by suggesting such an obvious solution. :) Damn text having no inflection... lol. I figured you had done it, I just have the exact same issue you describe, and it's fixed by unplugging. Who knows? I like Efest chargers, won't buy or stock their batteries. It's really weird that its so random sounding that this happens... since mines old and works... and it sucks if you can't fix it. I wish you luck :)

And that E-Syb 4 bay charger I mentioned looks real nice. I think Xtar has a bluetooth charger out as well now. Then theres the Hohm Tech... I need to look more into that one. I know you don't wanna get another charger, likely, but if you want the Bluetooth... who knows how well they work though.

I still haven't gone on my phone to see what I did... I will here soon and if I figure something out I'll post back. Hardware just doesn't always like to play nice with each other, and it sucks.

I'm gonna google, and mess with my phones... I have it on my 4S I still have that I use for running since the GPS is still active. I don't care if I mess that one up trying to figure this out. I don't use it for that purpose. It has an older iOS, since it won't update past 9 I believe, but I'll dive in today and try.

I know I had to do stuff that was new to me, seemed moderately sketchy, and that I haven't had to do with any other program. Basically, it was a bit of a pain/new process to setup.

    I will report back...

This video shows how I did it. I can't seem to get the web link to load though. Someone may have it on dropbox? I'd try this process and see if it works, since it's definitely what I did, and it has worked on all my iPhones. See if this helps, all! Good luck!

The problem is the app doesn't even pick up the charger. So the video is of no help unfortunately. It won't even recognize it.

Same issue, have the app from the app store but cannot see it on my phone. Might be something with the latest IOS update. I've tried the website but no luck either. Hopefully will hear from them soon and will update.

I tried going to the link for the app file in Safari, and it doesn't load anymore... I bet that somehow, the old version of the software managed to still work with the new OS, and it sounds like, Ironically, the new app doesn't... That's all I can think that must be happening. I never downloaded any updates... The screen shots in the app store look totally different than mine. I'm not touching it... I wish there was a way with an iPhone that I could just download the file from my phone and host it...

And good job Efest... I like their chargers, but won't touch their batteries... I hope you all get it sorted somehow.

Lol funny you should mention their batteries. That is actually one of the ways I use to judge the quality of a vape shop I am visiting for the first time. If I see efest batteries for sale in the shop I turn around and walk out lol

I won't mess with anything but LG and Samsung. Sony's are too frequently counterfeited, and I think LG and Samsung make batteries that are as good if not better. You won't ever see MXJO or Efest on my site. Re Wrapping batteries is not cool.
