Tied one shoe, maybe later tie the other
Nice! Are you interested in selling it?I still have my Commodore 64 boxed up somewhere around here.
I can remember "Shotgunning" dual 56k modems to get faster connection speeds and for hosting online Quake games. Then a coule years later, the miracle of Broadband happened I never looked back.So does my hubby. And upgrading your modem was a big thing. We can all remember the sound. BUT, there is now a price to pay for high speed.
Wow. That's an old photo.
Nice! Are you interested in selling it?

That would be awesome. I'm definitely interested. I'll send you a PM.I actually looked into selling it a couple of years ago and never got around to it. If you're interested, I can find it and take a couple of pics for you.
LoL same here. I was the only person for almost a year on the node with a cable modem. It was smoking fast until they patched in everyone else that eventually got it. Then along came fiber optic to the house. They rated it at 1GB/sec.I can remember "Shotgunning" dual 56k modems to get faster connection speeds and for hosting online Quake games. I know the feeling. I work for the cable company, but live in a non service area. So i'm rocking a 3 meg connection at home.LoL same here. Now I'm back in the country with shitty dsl. It feels like going back to dialup. Wish I could shotgun dsl modems.

we saw 78 here yesterday, they say maybe mid 80s today
I Hear ya. When my wife and I lived in Florida, we switched from cable broadband service to DSL to save a little money. At least we thought we'd save money. The phone / DSL co. at the time was Sprint and their best DSL package was worse than dial-up and it turned out to be more expensive with all of Sprint's hidden fee's. So we quickly switched back to broadband.LoL same here. I was the only person for almost a year on the node with a cable modem. It hit 80 today here in Southern Maryland. It felt good too. I've been so ready for Spring weather to get here. Lately the temps have been all over the place. One week it's in the 30's and 40's then the next it's in the 60's and 70's, then it rains for a few days and then it's back down in the 40's and 50's and vice versa.Spring has finally arrived here in the northeast. Going to hit 80 tomorrow!
That pic reminds me of the state park where my family and I used to vacation at in West Virginia. It's so peaceful and relaxing there. And it's the perfect place to go to just disconnect.
Just curious would that happen to be Audra state park you are talking about? That pic reminds me of the state park where my family and I used to vacation at in West Virginia. It's so peaceful and relaxing there. And it's the perfect place to go to just disconnect.
