Anyone using it already what do you think? Just loaded and I am liking the new look and layout.
First I'm hearing of a new escribe.... Is it only for the "c" series or for all dna200/250 footprints?
It shows early SP for all devices as "EARLY SERVICE PACK (all devices)" on the link below. It may not be much of an update but I have an older version loaded on my pc forever, here the link
Thank you! I'll take a look in the am for sure.
Need to update a few of my atty profiles anyway.
Been holding out for a non tc preheat punch
For now, only the 60 series.
I downloaded this version and it's listed to work on the DNA60, 60 small screen, 75, 200, 250, and 75 Color. In other words, all of them. I haven't messed with it yet, just loaded a few profiles from the 200 and 250 and it loaded them all up. I'm not really seeing anything new, but I just skimmed over it.
For US-based customers (Windows): https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP9_US_ServicePack.exe
I looked over on the evolv forum and from what it appears to be:
It adds a power boost to non tc, but only for the 60 right now. From what I saw from James, it looks like a field test for the power boost, but they only did it on the 60, because it's the least popular of the boards. If it passes the field test they will start implementing it on a software update for the rest of the boards.
I hope they do it soon.
Oops, that's the part I replied to. Sorry, it works for all DNA chips, just adds non-tc power boost on the 60 for now.
I figured that out after I posted
Great, now I got to dust off the laptop. A non tc punch for the 75C would be nice
