have soar throat mouth burning, and chest bones pain. Chills all over my body. It last for more than a month. Vaping 3% 90% VG with vanilla/cherry flavoring. Doctor insists its a flue. Very difficult to take it any longer.
Anyone can relate?

Drop your vg.
I get a heavy chest if I vape high vg liquid. I try to stay at either 60vg/40pg or 50/50.
Some people vape with 30vg.

I really don't mean to sound unsympathetic, but you seem to want to relate everything that goes wrong with you to vaping. If you're that concerned about vaping, then why don't you just quit and see if all these problems get better? It seems to me after some time you would make the decision to do this on your own, if for no other reason than to rule out the relationship you seem to think it has to a wide variety of health problems for you.

I'm 64 years old, have been vaping for over eight years, and as far as I have been able to tell, have had nothing but improvements in my health because of it.

The extent of verifiable problems I've read about on this forum are these: (a) some people are sensitive to PG and have to vape higher VG liquids; (b) some people are sensitive to VG and have to vape higher PG liquids; (c) some people are sensitive to some or all flavorings and have to tailor their vaping habits toward avoidance of the things to which they are sensitive; (d) some people have reported problems with harshness or mouth irritation and were unable to vape even after trying various things to help them acclimate.

There may be others, but those are the ones I can recall at the moment. I do not recall ever hearing that someone attributed as many problems to vaping as you have, and yet continued to vape.

I hope your health improves soon. It sounds as if you have struggled with it for a while now, and I do hope you will continue to see your doctor and soon feel better.

Thank you. I am vaping in excess of 5 years. for some reason this just happened, not sure why I use the same juice that I prepare myself. Beside the liquid suppliers I did not change anything. High quality liquids from reputable places.
let you know as soon as I figure this one out.
Thank you

I am diagnosed with IBD and Crohn's. Legs I checked with a neurologist and it’s benign

Well that sucks~! I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from those maladies. Maybe like others have stated maybe vaping just isn't for you? I hate to say it because I enjoy Vaping but like some people can't drink or have sugar life is a bitch but you want as much as possible. Again Good Luck~!

So it seems you did change one thing.
Also, I would possibly consider researching the vanilla flavoring that you use.
I heard something about people having adverse reactions to vanilla but i don't remember where.

I thought that too! Maybe it’s artificial vanilla like vanillin. Flavors can set off reactions, and it’s not just Cromwell being sensitive to flavors.

You also brought up Ni coils and sensitivity to them.

What type of coils are you using? Try changing them to Stainless if you can.

Also, try switching your flavors. If you’re really ill, try vaping an unflavored mix of glycerine and glycol and nic.
It sounds like flavors may be upsetting your IBS or Crohns.

Hope you feel better.

I am MTL guy. Not a cloud chaser. I vape Zenith tank using 16 ohm coils at 10 ohms.
My flavor is based on mix of French vanilla TFA and Cherry flavor at 1.5%. Three percent nicotine. Sometime I use DX Bavarian juice instead of vanilla.
Not sure about allergies, but I used vanilla since day one. Maybe over saturated with vanilla.

Not sure porn is right for VU. Except for vape porn!
I’m kind of curious as to what vape porn would look like...

“Look at this sexy mod! Enjoy as I hold it in my hand! ...ooohhh now I’m about to take a puff!! Oooo that was good!”

LOL Just pics of mods etc. Like the Hand Check thread. But I guess it could go further!

Well I don't report things because it isn't appreciated.

I can’t report it on Tappy for some reason. I’m sure I used to be able to, so I’m not sure why or if the app changed.

I think that porn would’ve been edited out, though.

Most flu-like symptoms are also symptoms of other medical issues, some serious, some not.

Can also be a side-affect or allergy to medication you take. Just because you have been on a medication for years with no issues, that doesn't mean anything. You can develop a reaction or a sensitivity to it years down the road. Happened to me.

If you've had flu-like symptoms for over a week, it's best to get a second opinion.

Useful info. Thanks, Bob.
