First time ecig user, need help buying a kit

Hi,

I have been a pack a day smoker for over 10 years and have tried everything to quit smoking without any success. This time I want to give eCigs a shot.

I need your help finding the right hardware. Since it is my first time I prefer buying a kit rather than individual parts.

This is what I've been thinking of, please let me know if it is good enough for a beginner like me.

www[DOT]vapingkings[DOT]com/kits/basic-kits/max-kit-basic.html

It includes,
1 KangerTech Battery (650mAh)
1 Aspire Tank (BVC Clearomizer CE5) 1.8ohm & 1.8ml capacity
1 Replacement coil for your Clearomizer
1 USB charger
1 Carry Case
1 10ml e-juice of your choice.

Thanks.

I think for that price you could do much better. Here are some well respected Vendors that ship internationally...

I don't have a credit card that supports international payments, so I'll have to stick to merchants in India.

I have to ask though, what makes you say that the product I suggested isn't good enough ? Is it that bad ?

My first sub-ohm kit was the Kangertech Sub Box Mini. It was great and my son has it now. Still going strong.

They all take PayPal

The reason I say that is... there are much better options for that price. You can get a small box mod or even a box mod kit for around that same price. What you have picked out is an "older" style setup that is fading out of the market due to the better alternatives now available. And you will need much more than 10mls of juice to get you started.
Take a look at the eLeaf iJust2, Joyetech Ego One, Kanger Subox kits.

Also... that battery is only 650mah... that is only going to last you a few hours. To get a full days use you need a minimum of 1600mah.

Oh and one more thing I just noticed... I wouldn't put much faith in a company that has the wrong replacement coil listed with their items...
In this pic below... the coil circled in yellow is the coil you would need for the Aspire CE5-S ... The one I circled in red is INCORRECT.

Thanks again.

Being a first time user I'm worried about the availability replacements parts.

I've read that the coil needs to be replaced every couple of weeks. Do all of these need a specific coil ? How do I find out if a coil is compatible with a particular product ?

Yes.. all tanks that are not classified as "disposable" will require replacement coils/heads. How long those coils last depends on the juice, ohms, and how much you vape. They can last anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks.

When you pick the item you want to purchase, the coil type should be listed in its description.

Alright, I see that in the related items tab.

Now the only thing that needs to be replaced with use is the coil right ? Or are there any other things too ? The battery I understand, but anything else ?

Hey this is just my 2 cents bit if I was you i'd buy from vapenw.com . They offer free shipping if you buy a bottle of e-juice and this is what i'd get http://vapenw.com/vape-kits/evic-vt-50w-box-mod-full-kit-by-joyetech . That kits about the best bang for your buck but also they have the ijust2 for 29.95. If your looking to spend a little less but there a USA company so there wont be a 3 week wait. But dont get me wrong im a fastech fan i have an order in atm but i use them to stock up on coils bottles wire rda stuff i dont need asap.

Only thing you should have to replace is the coil. If it has a built in battery theres no need to replace it just charge it with the usb. Itll say in the description if it needs a battery or not.

I don't know about the other products, but the Kanger Subox MINI that was #4 on the list Countypami gave you includes an RBA (ReBuildable Atomizer). I just watched Busardo's review of that kit, and, in it, he does a rebuild of that RBA. It's actually pretty trivial, if you're at all handy.

In fact: Watching that review was a good education in vaping tech for me. You might go ahead and do that. Then you might have a better idea of how it all works, and, thus, what you're looking for.

HTH.

Look what I found: http://www.indianvapers.com/forum/index.php

Looks like people have no problem with getting deliveries from Fasttech so I suggest you buy from there even if gearbest or Focalecig have marginally better prices. As for liquid, Fasttech would be my last resort. Go through that forum and check out the liquid suppliers there.
