First time running series tube

I've ordered a stacked tube mod (pics coming when it arrives). I also ordered 0.30 coils from my main man @b_d_builders

I need to figure out if I should use a set of Sony VTC5As or Samsung 20s batteries?
Both run about the same for me when running 0.10 on a single tube mod with the exception of the 20s having a slight ramp up over the vtc5a.

I have a series box and ran a 0.30 set up for a day the nicotine kick was,...... awesome @3mg.

20S, they're 30 amp where as the VTC5a's are only 25 amp. Plus the 20S hit harder ;)

Personally for 18650's Samsung 20S and 21700 are the only choice for Mech's because they are seriously that good. I've actually been vaping forward my other batteries.

If I use vtc5a in series would their be any issue at 0.30 ohms ?

VTC5a's are 25a so personally I wouldn't go below 0.4. If you want to go to 0.3 use the 20S, I like to stick under the CDR. Better for the battery, better performance from the battery and of course safer.

I have a brand new pair each of vtc5a and 20s from LIW and the 20s hits noticeably harder. Not night n day, but definitely noticeable.

VTC5a's are great but the 20S are outstanding and the extra 5 amps are a major plus.

Man I'm excited to see how the ramp up is going to be with a pair of series 20s @ .30
Whew.

I like my pair of n90s from @b_d_builders
Finally got around to installing them!!!!!!! Coming in at .12, though I prefer .10 I'm fine with .12 on my comp lyfe battlefield copper mech and real Ti goon with silver pin with a single 20s sammy.

Right off the charger, Both at 4.2 volts it tells me. Unregulated parallel box.

No doubt about it. The 20s is clearly the better performer. Albeit at the cost of some capacity, but I can live with that.

Be careful friend. You have those coils awful close to that cap when it's on.

Any righteous mech user should be grabbing the 20s. There are just that much better. Only batteries I use are 20s for 18650 and 30t for 21700. For 20700 I still like my firecrackers. However molicel 30As are pretty darn good too.

For those looking to buy the 30A Molicel 5-legged 20700, iJoy now has a 5-legged 20700 that looks nearly identical excepting for the fact it has tiny little tabs between the 5 legs, and, that one isn't a 30A battery (or even anywhere close) and performs like shit. AFAIK the EnerCig EC-27HC still uses the good (non-tabbed) 5-legged Molicel under the wrap. Not sure what you mean by "firecrackers". The Vapcell gold 30A 3100mAh 20700, regardless of whether you have the true 30A version or the newer (and inferior) similar-looking 25A version, it hits about the same as the Sony VTC5A, unlike the aforementiond 5-legged (non-tabbed) Molicel 20700. (The fact the latter hits noticeably less hard can be a good thing, though... especially in a series mech depending on what coil build you intend to use, like, for example, 28/36 Ni80 SFCs dual coil at .26 ohms are burning the vape with a series mech if using the Vapcell gold or Sony VTC5A, but not if using the 5-legged Molicel 20700 instead.) Below, the true 30A version of the Vapcell gold 30A 3100mAh 20700 is pictured on the left, the 25A version is on the right.
