That's pure amazing. Throughout the video you can see his speech progressing. Starts out very slow and speratic but by the end he has normal, fluent sentences.

That's what got me too. What are we talkin' here... heuristics? What's the data pool?
I missed a lot of the explanations (haven't re-watched) while distracted by his stilted speech patterns. But when he began giving fluid "off the cuff" responses, that was a bit shocking. The conversationalism was more than that... it was appropriate. Impressively done.

And the fact that he developed a sense of humor and emotions. Crazy.
