    In light of a few poor reviews of Gearbests shipping time and customer service, I wanted to make a thread and inform the community with real experiences from real people.

    Please, if you have a first hand experience with them, take a minute and post it up, good or bad. We will all benefit from your objective input.

    I have ONE experience with Gearbest. It was just weird, but that's based on what I'm used to as far as purchasing online. I received my order in perfect condition, the price was awesome. I got an iStick 20w for $17. It was 3 weeks from date of order, to my door. The weird part was not receiving notifications. I was able to access part of the information from their website, but had to do my own research on shipping updates. I knew that it left them and made it to the states, but that's as far as I could get with it. It just showed up in my mail one day.

    It wasn't a bad experience, just weird. I feel spoiled by the vendors I'm used to dealing with, really. All USPS complaints aside, we all have them, we really are spoiled as far as vendors go.

    Would I order from Gearbest again? Depends on the deal. Completely.

    Ordered a cloupor mini 30 watt from them...cant complain on shipping as coming from the netherlands wont take a week or less.

    Had the same issue with no tracking available to me so, just had to show up to the mail box one day and be surprised..id say it was about the 3 week range, on delivery.

    Not the fault of gearbest but, my cloupor burned up in about a months time...got it for $28.00

    Well I've told it so many times in the last few days but I'll shorten it and tell the most recent dealings with this a company I used to like but now have turned me away with their poor customer service and potential scamming ways

    So I'm sure alot of you remember this deal Joe pimped here while back

    Notice the "TC" Right... Well most of use would assume temperature control
    [​IMG] and according to the hardcopy (which means Joe copy's straight from the site so there's no confusion or false blame) but according to the specs you would be right!!!

    But here's the thing I went to read the reviews to check some unlisted specs and here's what I found

    I notice it says vv vw so I think I have the wrong mod so I go to my order and look

    Phewww I got the temp control model so I click the link directly from my order screen and it takes me here

    Notice.... No more temp control so I contact gearbest and tell them cancel my order it hasn't shipped yet and their site says they can cancel orders before they ship out but two full days go by before I hear from them ...

    I get 2 emails the 3rd day one at 4:12am saying my item was delivered to the post office awaiting to be shipped.... And second one was at 4:14am informing me that my item has already been shipped out and I can't get a refund and ignored my question about if its TC or not

    So now I'm stuck waiting to see if it comes in with TC or not ...... And this is just the major problem I'm dealing with atm

    And before you say I'm an isolated incident I have 2 friends going through the same if not worse problem from gear best

    For example

    Friend 1 ordered on the 29th and was told on the 3rd that his order will be delayed due to the American holiday and shipping being closed .... Their in China and its an American holiday but regardless it still didn't ship out till the 9th so no reason for the delay

    Friend #2 ordered same box heard the issues we were having cancelled his order and got a refund 2 days later they ship his cancel refunded item out and said .... Fuck it just charge his card for the box

    I'm sorry but isn't it illegal to charge a card with out the owners consent or approval... And if you say no then what keeps them from charging you when ever they feel like making some extra cash

    Sorry I went a bit to long winded but regardless I just can't stand behind a company with these kinda practices I think I'll use focleecig or fasttech if I want my China cheap shit at least with them all I bitch about is the long wait times

    So I finally got the box in and TADA NOT!!!! temp control
    [​IMG] so I just paid 52$ for a temp control and they sent me a vv/vw instead basically I can pay to ship it back to China which will take a month and they will send me a temp control mod and charge me the difference and send another one out which will take another month so 2 months from now it will be fixed.

    So basically I can't say I'm screwed because its a 50$ vv/vw

    But I can claim false advertising cause my receipt shows I paid for a temp control and I received a vv/vw only and if I pay to send it back by the time I'm done I would have spent enough to buy a new temp control so I don't see where its worth fighting

    I would hope @VaporJoes see this and stands next to the community I'm not looking for anything to be done but I know if I told someone about a deal and they got screwed on I wouldn't be sending no more people to that site cause it reflects bad on me

    I know I'm just one person with one experience but I know of two other people that got bit with the same deal they just aren't speaking up but I'm standing up and showing everyone the shady deals this gearbest site is pulling... Eventually others will get bit as well and by then it will be to late

    I'm still waiting on mine and I ordered it the same day it hasn't left New York yet and now I have the disappointment of knowing they cheated us for our money I won't order from them ever again

    I ordered and canceled. I got my money back, then I received a shipping number. I thought to myself WTF, well these bastards charged my card again. I have not received the item yet, but I am disputing the charges again!

    Why would someone endorsed people who do not deliver?

    This was a Bait and Switch tactics, period!

    They have a good deal and I put it up.. I WILL say I bought many items from them without a problem. Everything from mods and watches.. thats my personal endorsement - from personal experience..

    I understand some vendors can have ups and downs they all have horror stories but I'm not an isolated incident 2 other people I know are in the same or worse
    But I agree with don its about ordering a temp device and receiving something totally different

    Now imagine how many people clicked your link and ordered the same product I know I'm not the only one scammed by this site but I guess we just sit back see if I'm the only one to have bad dealings with this

    I'd be curious to find out how many others ordered that box and got a temp control box... Just curious is all

    That's weird I thought gearbest said it was a temp control 100w
    That's what I ordered looks the same as the false advertisement ImageUploadedByTapatalk1437683270.191890.jpg
    Which looks like this but if you do your research the Tc 1000 is the temp control not the u1000 so not only is it not temp control but it also doesn't have the chip the IPv4 is running as well which means I along with the others that have ordered this have been cheated out of our money I don't think it's just a 1 person coincidence in my opinion but I will not order from them again and I will not tell anyone the should order from there either

    I agree with most people here that GearBest is scam!!! Exactly one month today VaporJoes had the deal on EVic VTTC 60 watt kit and I purchased it. Till today is not even shipped or in stock which in beginning it was "In Stock" ready to ship!!! I keep contacting them and getting the same response please few more days or last answer was I quote" device is quality check" , I mean how long do you quality check it for 1 week???? There is few more good deals that I wanted to buy thru Vapor Joes from GearBest but I will never buy anything from them anymore!!!! GearBest does not deserve to get any business from paying costumers!!!!

    Yeah sure I got something but how would you have felt if you ordered a evic and they sent you a drip tip cause that's basically how useful this mod is to me I own a sigelei 150 and a ipv3 li now so what the hell am I gonna do with a 100w vv/vw mod ... I'm pifing this to someone who has a kbox and wants a bigger mod at least my pains can be his gains

    I've heard alot of people saying they take so many orders they run outta stock so you have to sit there and wait on restocking its fucked up is what it is if you have 600 mods they only take 600 orders

    Hell by the time you get you mod that shits gonna be outta date and the evic2 will be on pre order

    Well my second order arrived today. It was just an Xtar battery charger I found on sale here at VJ. No owners manual in the box and the USB power cord has a short in it so you have to keep it bent just right for it to work. I searched FT, Ebay, Amazon and Google but so far that cord (USB to type M) is going to cost me at least five bucks. I could have bought the charger in the states for another five bucks or less and avoided all this. I sent them a complaint about the cord. We will say what they say but I don't expect much. I can only imagine what kind of prolonged mess returning an item would be.

    The other order was for some Muji cotton, the first order and still nothing has arrived yet.

    I've always been really happy with FT. I dont' know what they're doing lately but I'm getting my stuff in a week, give or take a day. Two weeks at the most and that was for items marked "ships in five days".

    This was my first two orders from GB and last. The total lack of tracking, poor communication and lack of transparency about where I was ordering from during the order process on their website is just too much. I didn't even realize I was buying from overseas. Slow shipping from overseas happens. Problems with items purchased happens but they are so slow and sketchy to deal with I'm going to just buy the damn cord stateside and be done.

    Considering how they operate nothing really surprising. It's just not worth it though. I've already ordered the part I needed off Amazon. In the end I saved very little money using GB thanks to this defective power cord. I also found Muji cotton in the same quantity just as cheap on Amazon and ordered it there.

    Exactly I researched the temp control kangside and found angel Cigs is promoting a tc1000 which IS the real TC mod and its 49.99$ that's 6$ less with no code and I've felt with @Angelcigs alot even if its wrong they make it right and if they can't they refund your money fast I had bought 3 defective rampage mods from Angelcigs and after the 3rd one they apologized for the problems and just refunded my money total process took less than a month.... Now that's the kinda service I can respect from a China based company even fasttech makes up for the long shipping delay by having good customer service most of the time but gearbest just slacks at every aspect of the company... I'm really how can you claim to have a USA warehouse and only have 1 item in that warehouse.... Its retarded is what that is

    I see gearbest being promoted again, so i wanted to bump this thread and see how the coming round of orders turns out.

    If you just ordered from gearbest, let us know. This is a company that I think people should keep a close eye on, so we need all the input we can get.

    The box me a @dodyhearts bought not only were they not temp control as advertised, not only were they delayed 3weeks off schedule due to an American holiday that does not affect China, but once we got them the quality of these things were horrible a 3 yr old could of done better, and after less then a week of use the box shorted out and doesn't work

    So yeah dody got his money after fighting them for a while And I gave up after countless ignored contact attempts

    So YEAH!!! "Awesome company"

    I would totally buy from them again... So long as I don't want what I order I want it to take forever for no reason to get to me just to have it blow up in my face and be ignored

    Five weeks ago I ordered some Clapton wire from GB. A big 5 dollar order. I used a brand new debit card. The next day that card was hit with $1200 in fraudulent charges.
    I'll never order from GB again.

    Oh.....and the wire still isn't here.

    Gearbest was a nightmare for me. Luckily it was never a big ticket item. I just wrote it up as a loss. I attempted to get it corrected, but that was a joke trying to deal with them. Wasn't worth the frustration.s I just don't use them anymore. I have had better luck with fastech. Much faster shipping. I only order small stuff like wire or other cheap stuff. That way if I get burned won't be to painful. You can usually find some USA vendor having a sell that will be pretty close to the same price.

    I ordered the same Clapton deal from vaporjoes. 5 weeks and nothing. I understand that when I order from China it can take a while, but I think 5+ weeks is a little long and who knows how long it will actually be. I mean it's only $5, but that's all it takes to cost you a customer. I'm tagging out on Gear****.

    I bought exactly the same deal. I also didn't get shipping updates, but mine arrived a couple days faster than Huck's. I got 2 iStick 20s, $17 each, and I'd buy that deal again in a heartbeat!

    NOPE!!! Mine supposedly shipped on August 11. Still nothing! I've begun the paypal refund process. The messages I've received from GB have done nothing more than make me angry!!!! Sad to lose a customer over $6 bucks, but apparently GB doesn't care!
