So I recently started vaping due to my wife forcing me to vape instead of smoke cigarettes. Which I haven't had since Black Friday. So I want to get her a gift just because I want to. So upon me getting a vape(cuboid mini kit) she also got the kangertech evo mtl device I think it's called? It's a stick idk lol. But we got that as well since they had a great sale going on. So recently I upgraded to the G-Priv with the Big Baby Beast and I tried teaching her how to use my cuboid mini but it confused her. She has insomnia and uses the stick she has to help relax her at night so she can sleep and it helps her better then her sleeping med And melatonin. So I want to get her a simple yet good device that has good flavor. She tried my BBB and wanted to steal it lol. But sub ohm vaping and mtl confuses her so I bought a cheap mtl tank and she didn't like the tight draw so not sure what to get her as a surprise. Sorry for the long post, figured the more info the better

Get her a Istick pico : simple to use.

Can't think of a mod worth owning with "set wattage" but the Isticks are dead simple and a great first mod

Smoke Alien kit.

I know at first thought the alien would be overkill for a noob. But I actually think it's a great device. You can run it in simple low wattage mode and as the user becomes more familiar with vaping they can try different settings.

Set up her desired voltage then lock the device. All she does is hit the fire bar.

It has balanced charging so for now she can charge the batteries in the mod. It uses 2 batteries which at low wattage (sub50) should last all day.

Instead of buying a device that will get thrown away because it's too simple, consider a device that's easy to operate now and has features you can try as you gain vaping experience.

I started on a kanger. Simple, but low quality. Tanks leaked, mod was underpowered and I quickly outgrew it. I bought it because I didn't have a lot of choices as I quit smoking in Vietnam. I gave it away to a guy also trying to quit within 6 months of buying it.

Now I recommend better devices that works well in basic power (watt) mode. I've been touting the alien by smok. With tutoring, it works well for beginners. And is capable to grow with the noob vaper once they gain experience.
I've not recommend a squonk box as it involves rebuilding coils. Rta/rdta/rda is best to try once you have a little vaping experience.

There are no tanks and builds can be anything you desire - no limitations at all

Just don't care for the actual act of dripping - can't drip while driving and other important daily activities
