I got bored this evening. So I cracked out the Kanthal and made a miniature neon sign:

I tried wrapping some cotton around it, to see if it's vapable: it kinda works, but the performances aren't exactly stellar

oh man i wish i could find the video i saw a few months back. a vaper made a stove coil (bigger than the "stovetop coils" that have since become popular) and grilled a tiny little grilled cheese sandwich on it! it actually worked and it was the best thing ever to watch. cracked me up.
