Lee is an Americanized version. Or his American daddy's last name? With a name like Charles I do not think he was born in China. Even so, Lee is a Chinese name so you're even barking up the wrong tree on that too. Lee Jun-fan is Bruce Lee's Chinese name. Not Li Jun-fan. Lee is the family name, thus it goes on the end for the "Americanized" version, Bruce Lee. Lee is the name we use.
