Polls say that the majority of Americans do not want Obamacare to go away.
If the Republican majority replace it with something that hurts the majority of Americans then there is what may cause an electoral blood bath for the republicans.

Of course the Republicans will also be working at ways of keeping more voters likely to vote in the liberal direction from voting.

Horseshit.

After 8 years ONE poll(the last poll) got over 50%. And, they oversampled(polled more democrats) dims by 8 points over previous polls to get it over 50%. All previous polls, for 8 years, polled less than 50%. The headline literally started out saying, "For The First Time".

So the CIA can hack someone then leave the trail that it was done by Russia, or Israel or China
Very interesting maybe we "hacked" the election?

They think a contractor. They are pretty befuddled how it leaked . Serious security issues at CIA and NSA are not a good sign .

someone on twitter?

I have no problem with a leak if it is used to expose our govt or govt employees breaking our laws.

I think if you take a job like that and give your word you won't tell . Your a scumbag if you do . It's not up to you to decide what's right or wrong. Especially if you give away our means of obtaining intelligence. It puts us in danger .

As much as I want to jump on this, I'm gonna hold off for more information.

This leak doesn't have the same quality as the Snowden/Manning leaks. Snowden was vetted by seasoned journalist while Manning only got information available to him from his service unit.
My initial instincts right now, is someone is using Wikileaks to disseminate fake information. There's just too much hyperbole in these leaks and not enough specifics.

Sent from somewhere in Vietnam.

I didn't read it just yet, but, According to EJ part of this is to remove that.

I don't see why they don't life the state to state buying ban, let people form their own groups and turn it over to the insurance companies.
It would sort itself out with real competition.

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

It's not as simple as a "buying ban." You know - those coveted States Rights. Every State has it's own regulations for insurance, including matters like what procedures must be covered to sell health insurance in any given State. In the private market you just can't make "a plan" that is good in all 50 States - it's a State level regulatory nightmare. Obviously our Grand Wizard Trump hasn't quite figured that part out yet. So, do you eliminate States Rights to regulate health insurance in order to implement cross border insurance plans? Not a very Republican thing to do...

Beyond that, even if insurance companies could cross State lines, if you are going to covet the almighty private insurance companies they then have to sell themselves into the health insurance markets in unknown territories. While some people might call that "competition", it can also be called a tough sell with different plans with different reimbursements rates, different deductibles, different allowed procedures, different billing procedures... Just what hospitals and health care providers want - more bureaucracy, more overhead and more paperwork. Think that's gonna lower health care costs? Think again.

So do you support the agency or the US govt, constitution and laws first?
The agency must comply with the Constitution and laws.

The idea that we can make a "safe" society, is a false one.

NO society will ever be safe.

I would rather have a society of freedom and one like was originally given to us. More so than the nanny state we live in now. When government officials tell us we should have no real expectations of PRIVACY in today's society, there is a big problem.

I'll take that over the dumbing down of America with lying tweets any day.

Then you should move to Syria. Mobs and terrorists won't work here. Elections still rule and when you think they don't, we have the 2nd Amendment to ensure they do.

It didn't work for Syria either. Last I checked that country is a smoldering pile of rubble.

money rules.

terrorism will not work here?
Why the immigration ban?
Why The Patriot Act after 911?
We have just been pretty fortunate so far.

I think if you take a oath or make a promise you should keep it . I don't like rats even if it's for "the greater good " .

I don't think you you really believe that. There are literally thousands of examples I could use but here is one.

Freebird asks you to join their club but you must sign a paper where you promise to never tell anyone what people in the club do. You agree and take an oath or a promise and are now part of the club. You find out after joining the freebird club that it is a pedophile club and you are given videos of the club members engaged in kiddie porn.

Do you not tell anyone? Do you stick to your Oath?

There is a difference between a rat and a whistleblower. A moral person does not abide by an immoral Oath.

I guess in that statement it would be dependent on what was leaked, and the nature of it.

If a leak is made because someone is committing crimes, I don't see it as so bad. Assuming that the leak is not going to cause someone to lose there life. If the leak will result in someone's death it's another matter.

Think about it though, If all the defense agencies are committing crimes, you get to a point where there is no one to report a crime too. At that point, I would be confused. Do I let a crime continue, or do I report to the people the defense departments ultimately answer to. The general public. The government answers to us..... Not the other way around. Which is why the Constitution is a document to limit the governments power, not grant them power.

I see your point in something like that . If your going in full well knowing your contracting for the CIA and will be knowingly dealing in fuckery of all sorts . And you take a oath to keep secret you do . Same for the military. Your not the judge of what's right or wrong you don't know the whole picture . Just like joining the mob you know what they do keep your mouth shut . It's honor
