To me, the griffin tastes watery compared to my billow v3 25 plus.

I just rewicked both atties, both have dual claptons, same juice.

I saw a review somewhere that mentioned that conical shaped chimneys produce the flavor.

The billow has a conical shaped chimney and the griffin has a flat roof chimney.

But then i do not understand the rave reviews for the griffin.

Could it be that i'm doing something wrong? (ofcourse not;p)

I don't get it.

Oh and im not using the top airflow cap, as it only provides false air, it doesnt actually go to the coil and back. So only using bottom airflow.

The flavor does not seem muted like on a dirty wick but the best explanation i can give is 'watery'.

Lots of vapor, little flavor.

I don't have a billow personally, but i do have a griffin 25plus. I get great flavor mine. It's a great tank for sure but I still feel like i like the supreme and boreas better. But the griffin 25 plus is up in my top 5 RTAs 25mm or less

I also don't use the top airflow. the griffin has a pretty big deck so build big on it
