Hello, everyone.
I've lurked on this forum for a over a year, but a couple of BigNasty's recent tirades in the "What NOT to do!" section had me laughing so hard that I just had to sign up as a member.
I'm an on-again-off-again vaper, from Calgary, Canada. I've smoked analogues for 28 years (my quit time during those 28 years amounts to around two years). I'm presently off the stinkies and vaping full-time.
I started with cig-a-likes and no-nic carts back in 2012, and then moved to mods and clearomizers. I didn't find my vaping happy place until I discovered the Nautilus tanks and started using nic juice. I now use Kayfun tanks (V3 and v5), and I've squirrelled away my Nautilus and Nautilus Mini tanks (with a pile of coils) in my vapocalypse stash. I run 1.3 ohm, kanthal, 28g, 2.5mm, micro coils in my Kayfuns with organic, Japanese, cotton wicking.
I'm a Provari fan, but with Provape's closure I've picked up my first DNA mod (S-body Macro DNA75). I quite like it. I've moved my Provari P3 and Mini to my vapocalypse stash, but my Radius is still my travel mod. I was warned when I purchased the S-body that the DNA75 board is somewhat fragile, and it probably wouldn't survive being knocked around on a regular basis.
I also have a couple of Aspire Plato units, but they're in my vapocalypse stash as well. I don't really like them that much, but they'll do in a pinch. I've tried many other mods and clearomizers, rtas, and rdas, but they've been re-homed with my eldest son. He happily accepts all of my---free to him---rejects (which include the Nautilus X). Smart kid (23-years-old . . . And, I'm sure I'll still consider him a "kid" at 40).
