alright so i just started building and i decided to just grab these demon killer prebuilt coils... instead of doing my own and i see that each coil in the pack has the ohms on them most are .45 one is .85 and one is .35 which one of these are going to give u your warmest vape? like which one of these is the one i can get some flavor.? and another qustion is whats the difference between those 3 different ohms. now i have another question is .4 the same as .40? is .2 the same as .20? i am confused.. i have installed a few of these already and i get alotof vape but i am getting no flavor really like im used to the beast flavor. and lets say one day i wanna put 2 coils on my pharoah can u put .45 and .45 and if so what the hell does that get u ? i have a laisimo l3 and i also have the smok alien and the relaux 2/3

The .35 should be the warmest.
Don't know about the flavor of those, I've never vaped a demon killer, lol.
    .4 is a .40, as a .2 is a .20
Yes, you can use 2, .45 coils, you should keep each the same when using 2. Using 2 of the same will cut the resistance in half, making that one roughly, a .22 ohm vape.

And as you just did here, always ask questions when you're not sure. Lots of helpful builders here that will point you in the right direction. Read some building threads here, watch some vids, have a good understanding of what you're doing to play it safe.

The warmest will be the biggest coil.. without knowing what wires were used to make your coils tbe ohm rates are just numbers.. that tell a mech user their wattage and battery requirements.

To do dual you need two identicle coils.. the final ohm will be 1/2 that of the coils. 2x.45=0.225ohm

So you bought the coil wheel in the pic?
Lower ohms will give more "heat" . But so will increasing the Watts on your mod.

Some tanks are single coils, some dual coils, some you can use either. If you use 2 coils in your tank, the ohms will reduce by 1/2. So with the 1st coil installed (let's say the 0.50 hive coils) your mod will read the resistance as 0.50. Then with the second coil installed it will read the resistance as 0.25 ohms.

Generally speaking, the lower the ohms, the greater the heat. But it requires more power to heat it up. And it will consume more juice.

Be careful not to go too low, as some mods have a limit on the resistance it will work with. Try the different coils and see what you like. Learn what ohms you like to vape at. Also see which type of coils (claptons, alien, hive, etc.) you like best.

The lower the ohms the more power they need..... I find .25 to be about right for me...... Demon coils are great for the price.... and you get a good quantity..... Just test them and be your own judge......

Late to the party but I'll chime in anyway. Tried some if the Demon Killer spooled alien wire last fall and to be honest, it left a lot to be desired. Just could not get the flavor to come out like with other wire I've tried. I ended up using it to make small griddles for vaping cbd concentrates and it worked quite well. Haven't tried anything else Demon Killer has to offer but I might in the future for the hell of it. Recently picked up a spool of SS four core parallel fused Clapton wire and absolute love it.

Definitely agree with MannyScoot. Better to try it and see how it works.

Agreed with prevous replies. However remeber ID (inside diameter) will make a difference. When running higher watts early on I noticed increased "dry hits" especially on smaller ID builds(IE: less than 2 mm). Proper wicking at lower resistances is paramount. Just my 2 cents.

Solid advice right here. Last night I found out the same can be said about going to larger ID coils. I was bored and decided to tinker with one of my OBS nano's. Normally run a 6 wrap 4mm ID SS coil at .35 and 45-50W with the airflow half open. Tried moving up to a 5mm 6wrap and could not get her to wick properly for the life of me. I'm thinking the ID of the coil is so much bigger than the wicking holes that the amount of cotton in the wicking holes could not keep up with what's in the coil. So, I went back to my sweet spot 4mm 6 wrap. Was still fun trying and learning something new.

Another thing to consider is if you go TOO large the juice in the middle may not ever vaporize. IME this can also be a culprit of the dreaded dry hits. The wick may be fine, just doesn't have a nice dry place to pull the juice to. I have built larger ID coils and fluffed the wick in its entirety, that seemed to help.

A good vape is like a science project. If the coil is 4mm in diameter you need more cotton, now you need more power and finally you need more juice. Now you change from Kanthal to SS316L Now you need less power since stainless steel heats up faster.

It's all about testing and testing and finding something you enjoy and works for you. All I try to do is pass along to others what worked for me might work for you !
I have yet told someone they are full of shit unless they really are.

Small diameter coils get very little cotton to fit in the hole so they wick slower and also the material of the wick. I have tried a lot of cotton and camel sack Egyptian scrotum wick..... Some people like the taste of a Camel Sack in their mouth.... I don't..... So I tried Cotton bacon then I tried Native wicks and then Rayon and Japanese cotton ie. ItomizerWick..... My favorite is Cotton Bacon or If Broke I like Rayon..... I'm just concerned on what's in Rayon ? I rather use a 100% natural cotton product.

All I can say it's test different things.... We are just the guinea pigs for future Vapers...

Not much more to add, but if you find a good coil / build using that pack please let me know. A shop gave me that pack to try, and I haven't had great success with those coils in the pack. I wish they would of included the DIM in the description, I find myself trying to figure that out also. I went back to the spools I bought and am making my own.

Thanks Big Bair. I had not thought of that but could have contributed to my wicking problems. I thought about resting the cotton over the wicking holes as some reviews on the tank have suggested but the deck tends to flood a bit so the juice ends up making its way up the chimney and into my mouth along with some hot spit back. The 5mm 6 wrap can probably work with more experience and finesse on my part.

One of the things I really like about the vaping community is how people like to share their knowledge and experiences. Great post MannyScoot!

I'm a gearhead at heart so building reminds me of my younger days when I'm spent a ton of time under the hoods of my mustangs tuning them. For me, tuning my atty's for optimal flavor is alot like tuning an engine.

Try a pair of good alien coils from BD Builders... SS316L 5 or 6 wraps at least 3.0mm to 3.5mm in size.... If you vape at 80 watts you can get 3 to 6 months from a pair of coils. They cost more, but they last forever. They are expensive I know.... Sometimes the money is not there..... But when you have some spare coin..... try a good pair of aliens.....

The most important item necessary for a awesome vape is a great pair of alien coils !

Seems I'm figuring this out. Been using .3 to .2 ohm coils, single coil setups. Used around 2 mL per day when I used tanks and micro coils. I'm now using 3 to high 3.whatever mL to near 4 mL per day squonking and using the above setups. Granted, I'm still a moderate vaper, or just not found a flavor I can guzzle down.

I used the same coils as I started building and was learning, still not a master at it lol, these were the last garbage. I had to run the 0.35 (0.15 as dual) @ around 90 - 110 watt, the vape obviously was very hot in the limitless RDTA plus I used to that time, there was no flavor and man the ramp up.... If I try to make it funny, you literally could brew a cup of coffee while holding the mod with the fire button pressed in the kitchen. By the time that cup of coffee was ready, you were able to take a decent hit. Don't you dare letting that power button go tho or you'll have to start over lmao.

I switched to the prebuilt from Advanced Vape Supplies till I was more comfortable building, nowadays I don't get the prebuilts anymore but their spools and make my own. I never looked back. I'm glad you found something better as well.

I have some single coil 2ml RTA'S and can easily go through 10ml. How are you only using 2ml a day?? I use more than that MTL!

You definitely don't have to use 2 of the same ones, but generally it's advised.

Demon killer were good for one thing, getting me into building myself.

I reviewed them and as time went on, I'd put one in and the ohms would be way the fuck off almost showing signs of degradation. Was weird. Tried there actual alien coils, more like spaced alien coils, they looked cool, but preformed fucking terrible. That was the last straw.

There are much better coils at around the same price. Thing is, I know my coils last as long a 48 pack. Those coils degrade fast.

Geekvape, Wotofo, coilology, those are actually decent.
