Help with EXO RTA black atomizer

There was a post in "http://vapingunderground.com/threads/ijoy-exo-rta-issue.316254/" and I seem to have the same problem. My RTA was working for ~2 months and then it just suddenly stopped. Tried of at least 3 mods, all say that the atomizer was missing. In the post mentioned earlier, it said to solder 2 pieces together and I have a hard time finding out which 2 pieces, could somebody help?

Do I need to solder those 2 pieces highlighted red?

Thank you very much for the help!

Yes, those two pieces. However, you need to scratch off the black paint first. It's supposedly acting as an insulator. I have a black exo and even after soldering, it wasn't working. Try filing down the insulator tube where the 510 pin goes through. I think it's too long and it's preventing the pin from making a good connection. It's what I did and it's worked fine every since. However, it won't work in TC. My other SS Exo's all work fine in TC.
