help with fogger 4.0?!?!?

I have been trying to do working coil with fogger 4.0 but it always hits me with dry hit what to do? I use cotton and regular dual coil. Please help me

The way I do mine, is I put the cotton in the coils then point the cotton up and put the bottom part of the chimney on, then cut the cotton level with the chimney and lightly tuck it down on the deck, only want it touching the deck lightly, or will get dry hits, I have 3 foggers and always wick this way and always wicks good.

When i do mine .. I use very very little cotton and just barely cover the holes with it .. Less is more .
