Crostata is a pie with extra crust. Mela=apples, Fichi=figs
1.5% FA Apple Pie
1.5% FA Fig
0.5% FA Walnut
0.5% FA Orange
0.5% FA Catalan Cream
0.5% TFA Brown Sugar
0.5% FA Rum (or Brandy for a boozy version) *
0.25% FA Cinnamon Ceylon

* If you use Brandy, you probably want to let it sit and mellow overnight at least. If you avoid alcohol flavors, FA Liquid Amber can be used at the same percent for similar effect. Liquid Amber also emphasizes the apple flavor in Apple pie.

The crust of Apple Pie is emphasized with FA Walnut, without adding much nut flavor. Other nut flavorings will also work, but you'll taste most of them (nut mix, hazelnut, other brands...)

I made this on Thursday, tried it out last night. Never had a fig vape before, but I like it! Nice job, HIC, as always. You can really taste the Jamaican Rum, too.

Mixed this one up last night. I misjudged my collection of flavors, no walnut!! It was too late when I noticed, so I used 0.25% nut mix in it's place. Still a pretty tasty mix, although I don't think nut mix lends any sweetness. I'll revisit after my next order of flavors. Thanks HIC! :)

Will this work with Mandarin instead of Orange and no Rum or Brandy?

IMO the sharp edge of Mandarin wouldn't fit as well, but that's just my opinion.
If no Rum or Brandy, use Amber. Fig will be too fresh/green and not at all "baked" without one of those or some similar sub.

Couldn't find a use for Fig Fresh yet, my experiments with it didn't go so well. Finally a home for this dusty flavor bottle, will try this very soon. Thanks for the share HIC!

There's a fig and whiskey recipe on here that's really fig and tfa Kentucky Bourbon. It is one of my favorites. I can't link it on my phone..

Hic, I love this recipe. I really get the baked flavor in this. This is the first one where it is really prominent. Love it making it again tomorrow.
