40% on the G2 translates to around a 20-22% charge on my chargers.
I wouldn't say forever, but it does stay at 100% longer than you'd expect it to though.
Unfortunately my G2 has started acting up, occasionally I will pick it up and it will be off when I left it on.
Sometimes I will try to fire and it won't then it will shut off (showing the shutdown screen). I have had it a year and paid full price, bit disappointed.
Looks like I will eventually have to go through the warranty process...fuck.

It was a big factor of why I purchased it, US based service.
Got the new battery bridge installed about an hour ago and threw in a freshly charged set of 25Rs while my Hohm Lifes are charging. So far so good.

Curious how that went, what was involved replacing it?
It was easy as pie, too about a minute. Take the cover off that's under the battery door, wiggle the old bridge out with needle nose pliers, push the new one in with your fingers. Sitting at 80% right now, 96 watts, and still hitting like a champ.

Battery bridge seems to have remedied the problem. Vaped a set of 25Rs that would give me the check battery error at 75% before the fix clear down to 35% without issue.
In fact, the G2 was still hitting perfect, I just decided to pop in a pair of my Hohm Life batteries. Very happy camper right now.

The silver (non LE) reminds me of diamond plate cladding, good on the job site with the hard hats.

Hey, Hohmies...newb question here. I'm only seeing Watt, Ni, and Ti modes on the menu. Do I need to update to get into xXx? Current FW 1.6.6
I was going to update eventually, but I don't have a pc, so I wasn't in a hurry. My Slice came with xXx, and I just thought it strange the G2 didn't.

I never seen it with firmware that old. I think @raymo2u made an updater that runs on any OS

Says G2 on the invoice. Is there something on the mod that would identify which one it is?
I believe the G2 has an update port as opposed to the G1 that doesn't.

My last one came with that same FW and it sucked, update asap. It does have XXX, thats when it was still Vape porn mode. Its 151 watts with shitty presets but does have xxx
+1! It's easy to update and I did mine as soon as I got it out of the box.
I check every mod I snag up just to make sure it is up to date. Never know how long that mod has been sitting on a warehouse shelf. Probably got pushed behind something out of site and they found it while cleaning or doing inventory.
