ok, most of us like to watch movies, to one extent or another.
we watch only during the winter = its cold out, and light control.

this is mine. its a fairly basic system, and it is fairly high performance.
I say "fairly' because I have seen systems where just 2 of the main speakers combined are as large as your fridge.
my 2 subs combined are about as large as your fridge. I built them. 18" 1000wrms each, 14cf each, 17hz tune.
the screen is 119" but I have it "top masked" so it does "scope" with no black bars = I HATE black bars.
first pic is about 20' back from screen. 2nd pic is about 30' back.

lets see what you watch on.

Very cool but my speakers for my Sony Dolby 5.1 sound system are tiny. The Sub Woofer shakes the house though~! Gone are the days where bigger speakers were better sound.

No worries

I stick with a 5.1 surround, with the sound bar and wireless sub and rear channnels.

I have 3.1 3D acoustics subwoofer system with a Harmon kardin citation 12 power amp for music.

Usually I end up using my seinheiser headphones though. -stops the kids from complaining. :)
