You people!

Poor OP was looking for help and all you managed to do was make fun of Cromwell's sack and make Dc bust a nut through his nostrils

Oh well a strange crowd around these parts.
And holiday glitter was involved.

Many doctors tell their patients that vaping is worse than smoking.
Doctors just have to meet a minimum standard of training.
Some are much better than others.
Both of my Doctor's (general practitioner and a specialist) are both thrilled with me quitting smoking and support fully my Vaping. They both have put me into the "former smoker" group.

I told my cardiologist that I switched to vape and he said "No one's ever died from nicotine.". Well that's not exactly true but I got the point. I said I'm surprised that the medical community isn't fully on board with vaping. He said "I'm all in favor of it.". I doubt he'll be publicly advocating it though. He probably has better things to do. Like bypass surgery, stent placements, running people on his hamster wheel......

I stopped the moment I walked into the local vape shop. I did enjoy smoking but the smell had really gotten annoying and knew I had enough of the cigs. I sub ohm vape right off the bat. But I had only been smoking full time for 3.5yrs. Pack a day habit.

I'm part of the "instant quitters" ("IQ" ?) club too. Never wanted to quit smoking, but knew I should (30 yr habit). Watched a few videos about vaping on a Fri night, walked into a vape shop on Sat afternoon and it was like my pack of smokes was frozen in time.. never had another one. I think they sat on my dash for a week or so until I finally threw them in the trash.
If vaping suddenly disappeared, I'm pretty sure I would go right back to smoking.. it's only been 10 months though, maybe that feeling will fade with time too.

20+ years with out vaping about 6 months being a duel user and when I got higher wattage equipment the flavor and throat hit were the same as the cheep cigars I was smoking it was easy to toss them out.I keep vaping because i still crave a smoke ever now and then and some higher level nic does the trick. So 6 months i bet if I had the starter kits they sell now it would have been quicker.

Started off with a Eleaf 40w TC mod and I would still smoke cigarettes while it was charging for a month or so. Upgraded to an IPV6x with a Jwell Altea tank and never looked back. I don't even remember the last time I smoked a cigarette.
